Two little Easter witches would like to bless your house!

While "virpominen" was done a week ago in most areas of Finland, in my part of the country the day is today! Colourful little witches can be seen going house to house warding off evil spirits and bringing good luck with decorated pussy willow branches, receiving little treats in exchange.

Springday controlled what Marchwish could wear for a LONG time.

Springday REALLY likes stripes, polka dots and geometric/abstract designs. Usually the outfits she dresses March in are black and white (or navy and white) with one accent colour (almost always yellow). She makes most of the clothes herself. So much tricot. SO many tunics (made of tricot) and even more leggings. She also loves putting a flower, headband or TRICOT beanie on March's head. Also, as soon as March was old enough to not swallow everything put in front of her, Springday made her wear wooden bead necklaces for church. The only choice little March can make for herself is wearing no socks, which fills her mother with despair.

For outside activities March dresses warmly and weather appropriately. However, no child of Spring "minimalist" Day will look frumpy while making mudwater soup in the backyard! The outer layer MUST be colour coordinated. No Marchwish, you can't wear that scarf, it doesn't fit the colour scheme! Where did you even get that?

When Marchwish finally doesn't get dressed by her mom anymore, she tries to dress like some of the cool kids (Like Snowyblossom). She is not truly free from her mother's influence, who tries her best to keep the outfits more "put together."
