Let’s talk about little moments that lasts in you for the rest of your life
This year’s birthday was celebrated with my friends at a music festival event in our little city. At 12 midnight I was sang to by my friends led by the vloggers that visited the city for the main festival..
When my friends told the vloggers it was my birthday in a few mins they all greeted me ofcourse and we took pictures but I saw the girl vlogger, Nelly, open her mouth and started to sing the HBD song. This was the moment I was talking about. She didn’t have to but she did. She initiated to sing me the song in the middle of the road (where we met them) with a lot of people passing by/around. I was with 8 of my friends and there were 4 of them vloggers all singing to me so it was quite loud despite the sounds blasting off from the music fest. I’m never one that gets excited with a crowd. I disliked attention and as much as possible avoid them so imagine my face trying to hide the embarrassment I was feeling but at the same time grateful for the people around me. I felt so blessed and loved that January night. I was showed genuine kindness I’ll forever hold on to as yet another happy memory I’ll keep on remembering for those bad days ahead.
