“LOVE LIFE”

For two decades now Marcelo Ment has been painting on the streets and making them his “creative laboratory.” Born in Rio de Janeiro, the self-taught artist is among Brazil’s most active street artists, taking his visual messages of love and respect on the road and spreading them around the world. Ment says the stories he tells are based on his personal experiences and art is his language for questioning society as well as encouraging positive change. In December, 2017 Ment was in Wynwood, Miami for Art Basel where he shared this message of intuition, empathy, and love on the back of the building at NW 5th Ave and 23rd St. @marceloment/ @baselmiami/
