I want to write about Vol’jin and Orla today but it can’t be anything with plot. I don’t have the time or energy to remember what I’ve decided is and isn’t in my continuity.
Except for Zalazane. I’ve decided that poor fucker got the crazies smacked out of him after Sen’jin’s death but also before he made all those kids orphans…okay there’s some orphans. Bite me. I want angst in my stories but I prefer to serve it as a side dish. He serves Vol’jin as an advisor now.
Also apparently Rokhan and Talanji are shipped a lot? I can work with that. Also Talanji will have triplets at some point in the AU because I like the idea of Bwonsamdi having an absolute field day over it. He’s a chaotic neutral spirit uncle trying to keep an eye on the three little girls he’s got generational blood pacts with. Also I saw a pretty picture of three Zandalari troll ladies in head wraps and it captured my heart.
I also figured out where the fuck Sen’jin village is.
Took me a hot fucking second to find it. But at least that part of the AU lore is fixed now. Now I just have to figure out where the Amani and Zandalari are in relation to Sen’jin village.
I didn’t realize Orgrimmar was that close by. That makes things easier for me.

@starwoodac gave me permission to post the map commission i did for them, so here’s their island sunstone! they wanted an island that felt like it was built on the ruins of a much older town, so i went for very natural paths and spread the villagers out quite a bit. the island features a ruined old castle! unmarked special areas include a small market by the shops, space for a cafe on the cliffs above resident services, a picnic area by the outcropping, a statue garden near the museum and a big lovely flower field!! c:

Hey y’all, why are maps fucking stupid in WoW?
Why??? I don’t get it. Just have one map with all the shit named. Kul Tiras and Stormwind aren’t even on the second map. Kezan and Zandalar aren’t listed on the first one.
Is there not an up-to-date map or are we going for full pirate authenticity where nobody has a complete map and you gotta piece that shit together yourself?
Also all the map styles are different when you’re looking up very specific locations. It feels very reminiscent of the treasure map grotto hunting from Dragon Quest IX.
