I've tried everything other than jumping out of a plane, but nothing gives you an adrenaline rush like racing a car.
Nigel Mansell, 1992 Formula One world champion
Although he was more successful at Williams and McLaren, Nigel Mansell became the last Ferrari driver to be personally selected by Enzo Ferrari before his death in August 1988, an honour Mansell described as "one of the greatest in my entire career".
Though Mansell only finished fourth in his first season and fifth in his second and last season for Ferrari, he became known as βil leoneβ ("the lion") by the tifosi because of his fearless driving style. It was well earned.
