This has been my character for literally 20 years, so seeing him in such stunning detail is really a dream come true.

Remember this artwork? Of course you do! It’s probably one of the most popular fanart of The Legend of Zelda circulating around Google and I’m sure it would pop up as one of the first twenty or thirty pictures if you Google “The Legend of Zelda” or “Skyward Sword”. It’s everywhere and I would be surprised if you’ve never seen this artwork before in your life (unless you’ve never heard of The Legend of Zelda before). Well, a few nights ago, I was screwing around on Etsy, looking at cute Legend of Zelda products, ya know, the usual stuff I do every night so I can gawk at things I can’t own because I’m broke, and I ran into the original artist of this picture by complete accident! They’re a Canadian artist named Ree/Manreeree (you can also see their name on Link’s shield in very small text), and they actually sell this in prints! You can purchase one here. I don’t know how well known this fact this, but I thought I would let people know. Please reblog this around so that people know and can support them and their work! It’s really sad to see they’ve only made 715 sales overall from their store (as of the typing of this post) and they deserves lots of love! All credits to the image is by Manreeree! c:
