#mango cookie

I think they'd all be shocked tbh. As much as they all would've liked to have a family with their mates, they didn't really think it was possible with a cookie. However after the initially shock wears off, they're all ecstatic!!

DURING THE PREGNANCY:

ANANAS DRAGON COOKIE:

-They noticed Pineapple Ring was starting to act a little strange. She was having a harder time doing her usual exercise routines having to stop and take breathers more and got tired way easier! That was unusual but they trusted her when she waved it off claiming she must've gotten out of shape a little bit having a more relaxed back life on the island now compared to when she used to travel all over earthbread. It's nothing some more exercise won't fix! Only that doesn't happen. As days passed it seems her strange symptoms only got worse. Mango Cookie was in a panic summoning the Golden Dragon when their mate had gotten sick. Specifically in the mornings usually. One day she just woke up and had to run outside her hut to vomit onto the sand. The first incident she chalked it up to eating bad fruit for dinner the night before, however the next morning it happened again, and then again. So she assumed she must've gotten a stomach flu somehow and holed herself up in her hut. Only the vomiting and fatigue hadn't gotten away. Now she was feeling bloated, cramped, tired all the time, she was getting headaches, and she couldn't stop getting sick in the mornings. She couldn't even swing her sword anymore without getting tired. "Bring me the village healer immediately!" Ananas is extremely concerned about their mate.

-The village healer takes exactly three minutes listening to them and looking her over when she figures out what it is. "Congratulations, Great Golden Dragon. She's pregnant." It's a shock to not just you both but the entire Mango Tribe. No one had any idea it was possible for a cookie and dragon to have children together. "I'm...what? N-No! That's impossible! Ch-Check me again!" She does. Almost eight more times. But it's true. Pineapple Ring is pregnant. With the child of a dragon. "Pineapple Ring!!" Ananas panicks as his mate faints in their arms. They're just as shocked, confused, and bit scared but after a few days of the initial shocked wore off, it quickly turns into a proudness that boosts their ego. "You're telling me I've done something that no one's heard of before? HA!! Of course I'd be the one to do the impossible! I'm the Golden Dragon of Pineapple Island!!" Someone please stop them before they inflate more of their own ego. Seriously though they would be absolutely happy and probably cried when Pineapple Ring got a chance to stop panicking and came to terms with it herself. Speaking of which, they'd absolutely help her during this period of panic and unease. Reassuring her and does support her in what she wants knowing her previous past with dragons. "I won't force you to carry my clutch if you don't wish to. I'll support you in whatever you decide to do, Love." She doesn't know herself if she's ready for a baby let alone maybe an entire clutch!...But ultimately she decides to keep it much to the dragon's delight.

-Has no idea what they're doing in terms of helping her during her pregnancy. They've seen other dragons do things like make nests and light fires in their homes to melting degrees to help their eggs hatch but you both weren't sure if you were even having an egg. However they've witnessed many of their villagers have children through they're long life and asks them about what to expect during this time. Honestly the villagers are a HUGE life saver and are more than happy to help their leader and their wife prepare for the baby, probably the ones who take care of you because as they have more experience especially the mothers of the village. Constantly asks other parents for what to do, brings you armfuls of things like pillows and healthy fruit snacks every few days even if his last gifts hadn't been used up yet. Boosts about their 'impossible miracle' to everyone too. They want to instinctually take you back to their nest in the pineapple volcano and hoard her away, but the villagers and Pineapple Ring manages to convince them it'd be safer and less stressful if she just stayed in the village, so temporary they move into the village to watch over her as she gets bigger.

-ULTIMATE FATHER MATERIAL!! Out of all the dragons, most involved in their mate's pregnancy. They're constantly asking parents for advice. The mothers with baby doughs teach Ananas how to properly swaddle a baby and change diapers, the older grandmas tell them ALL their experiences about raising children for many years and what milestones to look out for, he tags along with the dads and watch how to properly be a 'dad'. They're constantly hovering around her ready to help with whatever his Pineapple Ring needs. Holding their hair back when she's sick, bringing her healthy fruits and snacks to eat, and massaging her body constantly whenever she wants. Ananas actually swallows their pride and makes a trip to Dragon's Valley to seek out Pitaya. Unlike Ananas, Pitaya actually has experience as a parent raising Snapdragon so the Red Dragon is shocked to 1. find out about Ananas becoming a parent and 2. that they'd actually come to ask THEM for advice for what to expect from raising a baby dragon. They laugh of course. This IS Pitaya after all, but then they genuinely start giving Ananas tips about what to expect with a baby dragon. "Don't let anything burnable near them for the firssst few yearsss until they can control their fire. Otherwissse your mate will beat you for letting her favorite curtainsss burn. The eggsss need a conssstantly hot temperature. SSSnapdragon didn't hatch until the heat of a foressst fire brushed over their egg. And watch out for the biting. They need cosssstant teething toys. Hard sssap candy worksss the bessst. It's chewy and sssafe for them to eat but it won't get ssstuck in their teeth like taffy or bubble gum mushroomsss." "Anything else?" "SSStock up on a lot of meat and fruit. They eat a lot more than you think."

-Becomes broody around her and their instincts tell them to build a nest. Since she refuses to leave the village, they make an ENTIRE next in her hut. It looks like a bird nest with sticks and leaves, pillows, large cushions she has no idea where they got from, blankets, and whatever she needs. They're constantly walking after her when she insists on going for walks waddling around. She gets annoyed really quickly when Ananas insists she can't carry around her dragon slaying sword while she's pregnant- "I'm carrying it! Not stabbing myself with it!" "What if you trip and fall on it?!" "It's IN a hard leather SHEATH!!" They came to a compromise that Ananas would carry the sword for her as they walked around and she can have it in the nest but it's staying sheathed at ALL times! It's overbearing at times and annoying, but it's genuinely a comfort to have them cuddled up to her a lot more than usual. When they think she's asleep they'll try to 'feel for movement' a lot of the mothers told them about since they're unsure if they'll be eggs or live birth.

-They don't trust any of the other dragons around you. AT ALL. Especially Longan. They ban the other four from their island until the babies are a couple years old at least. Longan has expressed extreme interest in seeing the children after somehow catching wind of more dragons being brought into the world but they're not leaving their home anytime soon. They also ban visitors from the island for the time being. They only trust the Mango Tribe around her for now. Mango Cookie is a really sweet (big brother-) helper during this time and constantly is their little helper. He's so excited to be the one of the first to witness the rare event of a dragon being born. It's honestly adorable watching him gushing about helping to teach them all about the island. When they're all alone together, Ananas will wrap all four wings, their tail,and their arms around her. One time they cried when it was in the middle of the night and no one else was awake to hear them happy cry into her shoulder as she rubbed their back. "I love you. I love you so much! We're going to be the best parents to our eggs."

PITAYA DRAGON COOKIE:

-Pitaya DEFINITELY notices it first. Their Desert Rose has gotten really, REALLY more irritated lately. Not in her usual 'yelling at them because they did something stupid and dangerous...again' way or her usual 'you scared me half to death I thought you were going to die' way. More like any little thing was making her go off. The first time it happened Pitaya was just tending to Snapdragon while she made dinner. She had accidentally dropped a potato while trying to cut in. Pitaya ducked when she yelled in frustration, just mindlessly grabbed the potato, and then just CHUCKED it randomly. Alright. Everyone had frustrating and bad days. They have! But then it keeps happening over insignificant tiny things that shouldn't warrant any big reactions. She couldn't find where she put her favorite vase? She's yelling and cursing loud enough to intimidate even Longan. They accidentally track dirt inside- Pitaya yelped and ran out the door as she literally chased them with a spatula. She accidentally makes a small stain on her dress? Pitaya's final straw was walking in and finding her literally crying in frustration on the floor clutching where the chilli pepper sauce stained her dress. They literally think she's having a mental break or something. "What hasss been going on with you? You've sssudden become more prone to....wrath thessse daysss. Are you sssstressssed? Have I done sssomething to upssset you?....Um. SSSomething out of the ordinary I mean." They try to help her calm down but unfortunately emotions aren't Pitaya's strong suit,so they just rub her back and sit there waiting for Desert Rose to calm down before asking. "N-No...I d-don't know why I'm so angry all the time! E-Everything is just so-..frustrating and I don't know why!"

-Pitaya comes to the conclusion that it must be some kind of stress so they do everything they can think of to decrease that stress! They completely take over taking care of Snapdragon full time, they assign some ladies from their island's tribe (the Mala Sauce Tribe for those who don't know-) to come clean your shared home twice a week and cook for Desert Rose(you), they even go as far as to NOT do anything stupid and dangerous for a good while to make sure she wasn't worrying about them. They even take her out to the mainland and to visit the other islands around them to get her out of the house. Unfortunately despite their best efforts, the 'stress' symptoms don't do away. In fact she gets worse. Suddenly she's throwing up at least once a day usually in the mornings, and she's started getting more tired and gained at least two pounds and she can't get any sleep because of the constant cramps and headaches- Pitaya ends up holding a scared woman as she cries into their shoulder. Pitaya may be putting on a brave face, but they too are really scared. Neither has any idea what's making her so sick for the past two months! They're very concerned about this. Why weren't they able to heal you? Why were you so sick?! And why were you suddenly craving spicy foods that usually only a dragon would eat? One day while running out to grab some more spicey jalapeno peppers she was craving(she demanded they get some scream crying that she needed it-), they actually run into their friend Hollyberry Cookie. "Pitaya! What brings you all the way out-...Oh my. You don't look too good. What happened? Did you fight someone and lose?" They're disheveled and tired, and with giant eye bags from barely sleeping and taking care of Snapdragon by themselves. In other words. They looked a mess. ".....No. My mate issss very sssick. But no matter what I do the illnesss just won't go away!" "I see...Here. Come to the tavern with Wildberry Cookie and me! I'll buy you a good meal and you can tell me all about it. How's that sound?"

-She gets them settled with a warm meal and a mug of hollyberry juice as they just vent to Hollyberry Cookie whom actually listens carefully but her eyes go wider and wider the more Pitaya just vents about everything. "-and now she wantsss these jalapeno peppersss that I can't for the life of me find!! And if I don't, she might get worssse! The ssstrange food combinationsss ssseemsss to be helping her, but she ssstill usually throwsss it back up again!!" "I see....When did all these 'symptoms' start exactly?" "About..perhapsss a week or two after our get away to an issslet off my island." "Uh huh. And you both didn't happen to do any...'special activities' while you were there did you?" They snap to her with a snarl. "THAT ISSS PRIVATE INFORMATION!! Why would you even asssk sssuch a thing!?" "Are you sure she's not just pregnant?" Pitaya stops completely and just blankly stares at her. "Wha-..P-Pregnant!?" She shrugged. "It sounds like most of the symptoms you're describing is just your average pregnancy downsides. Having morning sickness, sudden mood swings, hormonal changes, cravings-...It's not uncommon. That happened during the first month of my pregnancy." "H-How do you know that!?" "I literally have a son, Pitaya." "B-But that can't be posssible!! A cookie and dragon could never have children together!!" "Are you sure? Just because you've never seen it doesn't mean it's impossible." They were silent for a long, long time staring at her. "If I were you, I'd take her to go see a doctor as soon as possible. If she's pregnant then it'll confirm it, if not-...Well maybe you both can get some medicine for whatever is causing it." Pitaya is dazed and quiet for a while on their way home, without the peppers she wanted. There's no possible way she could be- Could it? They skip going straight home and literally kidnaps the Mala Tribe's healer, carrying her on their shoulder like a sack of potatoes back to their cave where they find Desert Rose miserably nursing a headache with Snapdragon curled up concerned next to her. "Taya!!" They call as soon as they see their parent quickly walk in, practically dropping the cookie onto the ground before growling. "Check her for what I told you!" The healer scared of the scowling dragon does so as his poor mate just lays there, before looking back to them in surprise. "Y-Your suspicions were right...S-She's pregnant." Everyone just stares there in silence for a long moment..before his mate sits up. "IM FUDGING WHAT!?"

-It's both shock and chaos for a good moment, especially when Desert Rose grabs a hold of Pitaya shaking them for good measure- "What on Earthbread have you done to me!?" Eventually though, they all calm down enough to actually think and go through what happens now. They sit in silence for a long, long moment. "....I didn't know thisss was posssible." "Neither did I...I still want jalapeno peppers and pancakes." "I know, I know.....Doesss this mean you want to ..ssst-tart a family with me?" "Well...it's kinda already started, so there's not really any other choice." She wasn't preparing for Pitaya to suddenly lean over and kiss her suddenly before hugging her close to them. "I love you. I will ensure our hatchlingsss will be the mossst beautiful in the world." "Taya! Me too?" Their arm reached out to snatch up the toddler dragon poking their side, scooping them up with a grin. "Of courssse you too!! You will become the greatessst older sssibling ever! You will teach them all you know!" "YAY! Playmates!!" It's pretty adorable to watch despite her being irritated, she couldn't help but smile at them both.

-Like Ananas, Pitaya will rely a lot on his tribe of cookies to help take care of her and Snapdragon during this time mainly because they don't know a whole lot about pregnancies in general. HOWEVER they DO have something most dragons didn't have! Experience in raising a baby dragon already! They fully leave the responsibility up to Mala Sauce Cookie and a select few Mothers from her tribe to take care of everything their mate needs while they busy themselves with taking care of Snapdragon and preparing a part of their nest for the babies. There's a smaller separate cave that's warm enough near the volcano to be nice and toasting warm but not too hot to boil the eggs or harm their mama. The perfect place to incubate eggs once they're laid or to put the babies. Apparently there's a good chance they would be a live birth instead of eggs because of their mama being a cookie. Their days are spent preparing a small comfy next of flat rocks and pillows and blankets and plushies they'd seen cookie children love. "Did you literally steals these from kids?" "....Yesss?" "GO GIVE THEM BACK AND JUST BUY SOME FROM THE STORE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!" It's VERY hard for them to resist the urge to go out and satisfy their itch for fights, but according to Hollyberry stress CAN and WILL very badly impact not just the baby but the mama too so they refrain from doing anything stupidly dangerous to keep her calm. Luckily tho Hollyberry offered to spar with them anytime they felt too restless during this time so they're not completely out of it thanks to her. Speaking of Hollyberry, Pitaya constantly asks for advice not only for babies but ways to help their mate through this time. "Massages always help with cramps. Not too roughly but firm and slow strokes should do the trick! Maybe have her tie her hair up until they're born? It'll help when she gets sick. Trust me! You do NOT want to try removing morning sickness from your hair. I would know. There's also this tea she can drink to help with a sore throat and those headaches. It's all natural and completely safe! Come! I'll help you shop for supplies!" Hollyberry is honestly a witches send for both of you and she cries when Pitaya asks her to be the godmother to Snapdragon and their new hatchlings if anything were to happen to them.

-Speaking of which- The nursery cave is full of dragon proof toys and hand me downs from when Snapdragon was still a baby. "They've already sssurvived SSSnapdragon'sss round. They should alssso work for the newbornsss." Pitaya is already prepared with scratching posts for claws, giant chunks of chewy sap candy for teething fangs, a fire proof spell for everything (courtesy of Hollyberry Cookie-), a think iron baby gate they forged themselves, and lots and LOTS of cleaning out their big caves for any sharp rocks, too pointy stalagmites and stalagtites, they even filled in the lava pools closest to the nursery to be on the safe side. They surprisingly are REALLY prepared which brings comfort to their mate knowing Pitaya actually has an idea of what's going to happen. Still they constantly make trips to Hollyberry Cookie for information on regular baby dough and children, while they COULD just ask their tribe they trust Hollyberry more as their friend/rival. They don't neglect Snapdragon during this time either. In fact knowing their about to be a 'dad'/parent again has made their brooding instincts kick in which causes them to dote a lot on the toddler already imprinted in their care, playing with them more when Desert Rose OBVIOUSLY needs the rest and breaks, feeding, a rise in preening behavior mostly and they become overprotective as a result. When they're not preparing the nest, going to see Hollyberry, or tending to their territories. Pitaya is right there sitting by the nest standing guard. Literally not moving for hours on end like a statue. The Mala Tribe are pretty uneasy around the dragon other than Mala Sauce Cookie who thinks the sudden mushy behavior is the funniest thing EVER. They'll growl and snap their jaws at the cookies THEY themselves assigned to take care of their mate and their home during this time and they become a LOT more demanding. "Why isss this sssoup terrible!?" "I-It's the s-soup your wife wanted us to make." "It'sss horrible! Dump it out and remake it!! Thissss isss unfit to touch her lipsss!!" "PITAYA!! Shut the FUDGE up and give me the soup before I bust a hole in your helmet with the pot!" or "NO!! You're organizing everything the wrong way!!" "Pitaya, that shelf has ALWAYS been there." or "Why are you touching her like that!?" The tribe healer and their mate so done with their overprotective behavior just stares blankly at them. "She's taking my pulse, you dense lizard!" She knows they can't help it and she's only over irritated because of hormones and her body's new aches as her stomach continues to grow but they still snap at each other.

-However Pitaya genuinely takes care of her. There's definitely many soft moments. They massage her like how Hollyberry told him. Brings her whatever food she wants, even if it's something that they'd find disgusting like jalapeno and peanut butter pancakes with a side of toasted marshmallows and caramel-mayo salsa dip to dip it all in. They didn't touch her or hug her for the longest time. They're not used to being gentle and doesn't want to hurt her. Eventually though they give into her demands and cuddle with herself and Snapdragon. These are the most soft moments with their arms, tail, and wings wrapped around her. "...You know I'll alwaysss protect you all. Right?" "Of course I do." "...I love you." "I love you too."

LONGAN DRAGON DRAGON:

-Longan definitely knows. Maybe they saw it before their orbs were destroyed and the other dragons literally stripped them of all their power permanently. Maybe it was because they already KNOW the symptoms of a pregnancy beforehand (it's cannon they asexually reproduced Dragon Eye Cookie-). Either way they definitely notice and knows what's going on when their little Butterfly starts suddenly getting more sensitive to things such as smells. Specifically she suddenly couldn't stand the smell of fish that one of the other dragons would bring them to eat during one of their check ins on Longan. The smell alone made her almost vomit right there. The smell of cooked fish was worse and actually made her gag a couple times to the point Longan had to stop their servants in the middle of cooking dinner for their master. Then comes the morning sickness and sudden headaches and now she's craving a variety of fruit and flower nectar and her body starts to ache- They literally had to dive and stop her when she attempted to dive in after one of the sweddish fish in Longan's moats. The other four dragons pick up on this too. ...They all really, REALLY don't want to think it's possible, but eventually after a while of her being 'sick' Ananas brings the Mango Tribe's healer to come look her over out of concern death glaring at Longan the entire time she's being examined, despite how much they despise cookies and would rather turn this crumb into stone for allowing her to examine their mate so intimately like this. Thankfully Ananas is there to subdue them if anything goes wrong. "It's just a physical! Calm yourself, Longan." Longan just glares back at the yellow dragon and their cookie. Once the healer confirms that she is indeed pregnant, everyone has to take a moment to let it sink in. "I didn't even know it was possible to produce offspring with someone who wasn't another dragon." "Agreed. This turn of events is most unexpected...However this is quite a welcomed miracle. As expected of the only one worthy to be at my side." Naturally everyone else who hears this is both shocked, and completely terrified. LONGAN is the sire of whatever baby is going to be born! Who wouldn't be nervous!? Sure. Dragon Eye Cookie is nothing like their parent and is trusted thanks to the impact their Mama Butterfly has on them, but if Longan had any other offspring there wouldn't be a guarantee of how they would turn out especially with Longan as an influence. There's a heavy debate between the other four dragons about whether to remove Butterfly from the Ivory Palace entirely and have the children born and raised somewhere safer much to Longan's ignored protests. They do take into consideration how devastating of an impact their lack of presence can have on the birth- Especially since by now Longan's brooding instincts were already kicking in and making them more protective towards Dragon Eye and Butterfly instinctively. Eventually it's decided it's safer for both parties for now if Butterfly stays with Longan for the time being however they would HEAVILY be watching and they make a spot for her at Lotus Paradise in case of emergency removal.

-Honestly no one thought this was possibly. But Longan has a few theories. They believe it's due to Butterfly's family being descendants of a dragon from long ago, being the reincarnation of a dragon herself, or being a dragon inside the shell of a cookie. Or any combination of the three. Regardless, Longan IS surprisingly genuinely happy with this outcome. Both of them had planned on having a family together so long ago before she was taken from them, they had always wanted a family deep down and is over the moon behind those calm stares that their and your old dream of having your own family to love and cherish is finally coming true. After so much pain and loss. Dragon Eye was the first in the new age of dragons to be born, so it would only make more sense if Longan was also be the first one to sire MORE siblings for them and bring about the new age of dragons one way or another. Pitaya is glaring at them when they declare that as if Snapdragon doesn't exist too! Out of all five dragons, they are the most calm ones when it comes to the news. "The age of dragons has dawned on us. One way or another, it has began even with my powers dwindled. My heirs will carry it forth." "OUR children will not be sharing any of your genocidal cookie ideas! If you even so much as try to instill those values in them, I'm moving to Lotus Paradise permanently and taking Dragon Eye Cookie with me! Do I make myself clear to you?!" They stare at her slowly blinking..but they know better than to call out any bluffs especially with the other four dragons hovering around more. "They will be superior beings regardless." Even though the other four dragons were more tolerable towards cookies now even nice, they still considered themselves superior to cookies so that's as good as you'll get to Longan agreeing to anything unfortunately.

-Also out of the five dragons, they know EXACTLY what they're doing...At least when it comes to dragon offspring. Just like how Pitaya already has experience raising Snapdragon, Longan already has experience raising Dragon Eye Cookie. Only difference is that Longan has even MORE experience personally with how a dragon is born and how pregnancy and eggs work because unlike Pitaya whom adopted Snapdragon, Longan reproduced asexually with Dragon Eye. So they know the symptoms of headaches, craving, morning illness, etc having been through it personally. Honestly everyone is not only shocked by HOW good Longan is at taking care of their mate and Dragon Eye but how perfectly calm and willing they are as well. Waking up before her and waiting for her to wake up to hold her hair back as she pukes, knowing the perfect pressure and movements for massaging those cramps away, constantly sending strange food requests to the other dragons to bring, and seeming to know when she wants something before she does. However unlike Pitaya who does these things with happiness or concern, Longan seems to be doing it more mechanically which can be awkward when they're just silently looming over Butterfly hunched over the edge of the floating paradise loosing her dinner the night before stiffly holding her hair and rubbing her back. Not to mention If any of their servants or other dragons are looking they're just....unblinkingly staring back deadpanned. It's kinda creepy ngl. It's also really awkward to everyone seeing the serious dragon being 'soft' or however 'soft' they can be right now. They've never seen Longan gentle with anyone before but they've already lost Butterfly once so long ago, they don't want to do anything to lose her again this time. However despite how awkward it can be, it's actually comforting to know they have the situation mostly under control.

-Longan's brooding instincts are a force to be reckoned with even with their power greatly dwindled. They first attempted to build a nest for the babies but it was destroyed by Pitaya (since it's cannon in Cookie Run dragon's harness their power in their nests and thrones-) when the Red Dragon popped in for a check up. That caused the two to get into a rather violent altercation that forced Ananas to leave their isle and break it up before they tore each other apart. They had never seen Longan snap so suddenly with anger like that before. "You know you're not allowed to have a nest, Longan! No exceptions!" "That nest was a safe space for my young to be born!" "Like I said. NO. Exceptions!" They don't care if Longan's instincts were driving them up a wall with the violent urges to build a nest! They were not risking Longan using the nest later to start growing more power for themselves! No exceptions! Eventually it's up to Lotus to step in and diffuse the tense situation by coming up with a compromise. Longan could have a 'nest' for their mate and babies, but instead of an actual 'nest' they were only allowed to use lots of harmless pillows and blankets to build it. Longan HATES it, but eventually agrees because his lizard brain is making grabby hands at the piles of gold, white, and yellow fuzzy blankets and HUGE extra soft pillows Lotus generously provided them. After all they love Butterfly too as a little sister. They don't want her getting stressed out during this critical time in her life. Lotus is the one keeping the others calm and Ananas is the one keeping them in line during this time.

-Speaking of Longan building a nest- As the strongest dragon Their brooding instincts are stronger than any other dragon's. The room must be PERFECT. They spend literal hours searching through the Ivory Palace for the perfect room and once they do find it they take it upon themselves to personally clean and prepare that room for their newborns. Lychee was jaw dropped shocked beyond belief to stop in for a weekly check in and found the mighty Ivory Dragon on hands and knees, hair tied back in a bun, and scrubbing the floors violently like the marble flooring personally offended them. Brooding instincts for Longan fully take over. The nursery must be PERFECT. Every inch of it clean (so don't be surprised to find them scrubbing the walls and ceiling too-), all the furniture rearranged again and again until everything felt right (It takes them three hours to decide where to put a table they also scrubbed cleaned before placing it back inside), the 'nest' of nothing but cushions and blankets took the longest for them to arrange before they deemed it right. Butterfly is concerned about Longan's strange hyperactivity during this time but Lotus assures then it's perfectly natural. "Every dragon goes through this when they first expect a clutch. Do not worry yourself about them. It's all perfectly natural." "They spent all day yesterday scrubbing the ceiling of all things! Shouldn't we try to make them take a break?" "Even if we do, they'll remain anxious and just go right back to what Longan's instincts are telling them to do. Don't worry about them. The best thing we can do is just let nature take it's course and let them just get it out of their system. Longan spent nearly a millenia asleep without eating or drinking. Trust me when I say a few months of cleaning and fussing over you isn't going to hurt them in the slightest." To be fair the nursery DOES look REALLY good when Longan is done with it and carries Butterfly bridal style to place her in the 'nest' they prepared. "This is the first place our offspring will see once they're born." They explain pulling a fuzzy blanket over her before moving on to arrange a pile of plushies Lotus had given them as a gift. "Did-...Did you paint butterflies on the ceiling?" They freeze up...but nodded. "Yes. Back then we discussed ideas for what we wanted the nursery for our children to look like. ...I..incorporated the things you wanted most into the nursery." Longan freezes when Butterfly starts crying out of joy mistaking it for upsetting her- "I apologize. Do you not like monarchs? I shall paint over them and paint lunar moths instead if that pleases you."

-Their brooding instincts also makes them hyper focus on Dragon Eye as well. The instinctual need to take care of young is hammering at their head during this time, but since the eggs are laid/babies aren't born yet, all of that focus goes on Dragon Eye Cookie. Many of Longan's wyvern servants notice their master walking around with their child behind them a lot more these last few months. Longan is suddenly focusing more on Dragon Eye's health, what they need, their education to become a true dragon, and has ordered them to stay right next to them at all times. Dragon Eye knows their parent is only acting weird because of some hormonal thing but they're still so confused by the sudden flip. Suddenly their room is being thoroughly deep cleaned and reorganized, they're given a strict more 'nuitricious' diet, they're sitting down in a bath as Longan cleans and preens them constantly- "Why are you acting so strangely?" Longan busies themselves with drying their child's hair so they can brush it again perfectly. "It is the natural order of things. You will one day understand when I approve a dragon worthy for you to carry on our bloodline with." Also playdates with Pond Dino and Snapdragon become harder or organize. Naturally Longan doesn't want to let anyone else near Dragon Eye or Butterfly during this time, but the other four dragons don't give them a choice in that matter, so visits are usually tense and awkward. A bunch of times Dragon Eye will find themselves just plucked up and placed in the nest with Mama Butterfly for hours or full days. "Stay in the nest unless I say so." "Why?" "Because I said so. Don't question your sire." To Longan's lizard brain, the nest is the safest place for them to be so Dragon Eye and Butterfly will be constantly placed back in there where they deemed safe.

-Speaking of Dragon Eye, they're actually very excited to be a big sibling! More playmates to play with! Little versions of them! And they're supposed to be cute too? They still don't know what cookies' fascination with cute things comes from but they're very happy. Often helping in small ways like 'guarding' the nest while Papa Longan is out getting food or updating the nursery for the millionth time that day or help take care of Mama Butterfly. However one question does pop up- "Where do baby dragons come from?" "I already explained to you how you came into this world." Longan takes a sip of their coconut water. "I know that. I meant how did the eggs get inside of Mother's stomach?" "PPFT!? *cough cough cough*" The all mighty Ivory Dragon chokes on their drink and descends into a coughing fit as their oldest child innocently looks confused. Longan refuses any birds and bees talk until they're at least a century old!

-Takes VERY good care of you during this time. Massages, brings her what she craves, brings plenty of books to entertain herself with while being forced to lay in the nest if she does get restless, Longan will bridal carry her around. It's not difficult for them to do. Knows about the magical cures to anything- "Here. Eat these." "...Bread and water?" "It helps with morning sickness or after vomiting. I used this whenever I got sick carrying Dragon Eye's egg." Herbal teas, sweets, a hot fudge sundae with globs of salsa topped with pasta noodles and fried onions- Whatever Butterfly wants, they'll get it by the end of the day even if Longan has to demand one of the other four dragons to help them get it! LOTS and LOTS of physical affection! Massages, cuddling, taking naps together, kisses, rubbing their head on hers, nuzzling, holding her hands- They know she needs lots of affirmation during this time and they themselves wanted the same thing when they were dealing with their own form of pregnancy alone with Dragon Eye. Their favorite thing to do is to take bathes together or to just sit in a nice warm bath since the water helps elevate some of the pain away from her body. Either way they won't let anything happen to their family or Butterfly. Now again. "None shall harm those I hold dear to me. Even if it means my life, I shall see to it the wrath of the Ivory Dragon is not forgotten." "Longan, you just say I love you without being dramatic." "....Very well." "Good. Now go to sleep. It's past midnight."

LOTUS DRAGON COOKIE:

-Second to Longan, would actually be the most calm about it. But out of all five of the dragon's would actually find out about it the quickest and first. They like to be on top of things when it comes to their mate's precious health. So the very first time their mate wakes up and suddenly rushes to the bathroom violently vomiting in the morning? Oh yeah. They order Hydrangea Cookie to summon the best doctor on Lotus Paradise to come to Lotus Palace immediately. They're sitting right there as their precious dear is sipping water to help their sore throat after scrubbing their mouth clean to get rid of the taste. The nice doctor gives her the normal routine and asks the usual questions- "Do you have any allergies?" "No." "Are you allergic to anything?" "No." "Did you eat anything unusual or new lately that could've made your stomach upset?" "We had my favorite meal for dinner last night. I ate it plenty of times before." "Was it made differently this time? Maybe your chief added a new ingredient?" "Certainly not! I interrogated the entire kitchen staff thoroughly this morning! If they had..well they would have been punished for inflicting harm to my beloved of course." The doctor clears his throat nervously under the dragon's intense gaze despite the perfectly polite smile on their lips. "Have either of you been around anyone sick lately? You may have caught a stomach bug." "Certainly not! I never allow anyone unclean or sick near her or myself." "Hmm....Well perhaps you just caught the a germ somehow. I would like to perform a physical if that's the case." "Very well. But do keep in mind I will not be leaving this room." The doctor is nervous with Lotus intensely watching where he puts his hands, but notices the sensitivity with her stomach and suddenly everything for him clicks right then and there. "This may sound like an inappropriate question, but I am merely asking it for health reasons...Do you have an active love life?" "Yes." "A very healthy love life at that." "I thought so." He sighs nervously. "There's nothing wrong at all. Infact this might be a cause for celebration." "What do you mean?" "I'm saying congratulations, Great Blue Dragon. I believe you two are expecting a baby."

-It's quite a shock to almost everyone there. A dragon and a cookie?! Having a baby!? They've never heard of anything like THAT happening before! Lotus didn't even have any idea that was even possible! But the shock quickly melts away- "A..baby?" The doctor nods. "And you're certain?" "I can't be completely sure until she starts showing more signs, but I think so." "A baby..." Slowly they smile with so much glee it surprises everyone. "We're having a clutch! Oh, my darling petal!" Immediately they hug their still shocked mate tightly out of pure joy. "We're going to have a family you and I! The world will rejoice in the beginning of more flower dragons finally being born!" Lotus is the last of their kind (Flower Dragons-) with the only other being Snapdragon they've met a handful of times when Dragon Eye, Pond Dino, and Snapdragon had playdates but Pitaya was unwilling to give them Snapdragon when Lotus proposed the idea of raising Snapdragon on their isle. So just like Longan is overjoyed knowing more dragons are coming into the world, Lotus is more overjoyed just knowing they wouldn't be the last of their kind anymore. "I'll write you down some safe herbal remedies for a cold she should take in case I'm wrong and it's just a common cold. If it's not a cold, then there should be no harm in eating them while pregnant anyways. I'll return after in two months and reexamine her. I should be able to definitely confirm it then." "Yes, Doctor. Thank you!" The doctor freezes as soon as Lotus looms over him intensely. "You must prescribe me the best way to care for a pregnant cookie immediately! And return once a week to give her a check up." The doctor gulps. Lotus's tone is happy but it leaves no room for him to question or disobey. "O-Of course! I'll write you a prescription of the right prenatal vitamins and best care r-right away-" "Before you leave." "Yes! I-I'll write them f-f-for you right now. Right this second!" "Excellent! I knew you were the best doctor in Lotus Paradise!"

-The poor man practically has his Icing mustache melting off from sweating by the time he finally leaves or rather when Lotus finally lets him leave. Leaving Lotus with a rather large and detailed list they INSISTED(demanded-) he give them that's almost ten pages long with how much detail there is. They hum while looking over the list much more seriously than they usually are. "...Hydrangea Cookie, go find Snake Fruit Cookie and have them bring all the books in the library we have about pregnancy and child development." "Yes, Great Blue Dragon." She agrees without question or hesitation. "On second thought, see if I have any ancient books hidden that tells us anything about dragon eggs or hatchlings as well. Bring any and all books you two can find on the subjects." "Yes, Great Blue Dragon." She bows to them. "Right away." "Oh! And while you're at it-" They hand her the prescription of natural remedies and prenatal vitamins the doctor wrote for them. "Bring all of these to me by the end of the day. If we don't have them on Lotus Paradise, inform me immediately." "It shall be done." "Good. I know I can always count on you." "Don't you think you're getting a little ahead of yourself, Darling?" They turn back to Petal as she stares at them. "We don't even know if I am pregnant really. After all he's right, for all I know I could just have a stomach bug as dreadful as that sounds." They chuckle with that ever big smile of theirs. "You know me, Petal.~ I love to be prepared for anything and for every outcomes. How do you think I do such an excellent job caring for Lotus Paradise?" She was gently pushed back down to sit on their bed. "Even if it is just a 'simple cold', you should take the time to relax and let yourself get better. You haven't even eaten yet. I'll have someone bring you some sliced fruit and earl grey tea." They don't need a doctor's second opinion. They KNOW. They just KNOW. They're instincts are screaming at them!! They know the answer before anyone else does and ironically they were correct.

-Lotus is very calm and elated about the entire thing and doesn't show an ounce of fear, anxiety, or worry. Doesn't mean they don't fret over Petal. As soon as Hydrangea comes back with the vitamins and teas, Petal is taking them everyday! Also unlike other dragons, Lotus has no problems with letting other cookies around their mate during this time HOWEVER there's a limit. They select exactly ten cookie servants to give her around the clock care with anything she needs! Massages, whatever food she craves (the palace's poor chief is appalled by the strange food combinations demanded of him-), constantly keeping their room clean and tidy, and whatever whim their Petal desires as her body starts to grow bigger and bigger. Hydrangea and Snake Fruit Cookie are also permitted to be around her as well as the doctor once a week to give her her weekly check up. Poor Doctor is nervous as the Blue Dragon looms over them the entire time intensely watching them. During the first trimester is the most critical time, so Lotus definitely puts her on almost constant bedrest because of this. However unlike Longan or Pitaya, they won't force Petal to stay in one place. They will go on walks together and still take trips around Lotus Paradise with a few of the carefully selected servants in tow like they usually did even before the pregnancy. Now they just have to take more breaks whenever Petal needs to catch her breath or needs to rest her swollen ankles.

-Like with all dragons their brooding instincts also kick in so they temporarily leave Hydrangea Cookie in charge of most of their usual duties of Lotus Paradise so they can guard and watch over their mate. Hydrangea takes this as a great honor and does a great job. They also rearrange their bedroom a bit and prepare a second room for a nursery complete with a nest they made themselves made from the most soft and beautiful looking vines and flowers and fills it with silk blankets and large comfy cushions. It's actually quite beautiful. However they also won't force Petal to stay in the nest if she doesn't want to. If she says their regular bedroom bed works for her, then they will respect her wishes! Also the nursery is probably the most filled and glamorous out of the dragons decorated with beautiful paintings and more flowers and water colors and seashells- Petal cried out of happiness when Lotus first showed her the nursery where their babies would be born. Speaking of preparing for the babies- "Are these all the books you can find?" Lotus and petal stare at the three tall stacks of books Hydrangea and Snake Fruit produced them. "Every book on babiesss, pregnancy, child care, child pssssychology, and parenting we could find." Snake Fruit confirms watching as their master pulled out a random book from the stack and opened it immediately, the title read 'How To Be A Good Dad For Gummies'...And then chuckled a little. "What about hatchlings or eggs?" Snake Fruit frown. "Unfortunately we were only able to find one in the ancient language of the dragonsss." They hand over a book that looks ready to fall apart any moment with tears on the seams and faded yellow paper. "I wasss in the middle of making a ressstored copy of it along with all the other ancient booksss." "You may after I finish using it. Comb through the library again and make sure there's nothing you missed." The best part of having the largest library in all the Tropical Soda Seas was that any information they needed was just a read away. Lotus will spend hours to days reading all these books to prepare themselves and gather as much information as they can to better prepare themselves and Petal for the babies or eggs. Speaking of their brooding behavior, Lotus between reading and maintaining the nursery for any moment's notice will stay directly by Petal's side any spare second. Preening is their specialty. Long herbal juice baths together, styling her hair for her every morning, the maternity clothes they have tailored for her are GORGEOUS! Long beautiful flowing robes that only heightened her already natural beauty. They feel a need to still mark her as theirs so they often braid a Lotus flower or two into her hair every morning as a way of claiming her.

-Be prepared to be bombarded with gifts and congratulations from the thousands of cookies that live on the giant island. There's constant offerings being left at the palace doors and everyone congratulates Lotus and their mate whenever they step out of the palace to walk around. Lotus is proud and smug (all dragons have an ego-) and loves showing off how beautiful and glowing their mate is during this time. MOST. GRACEFUL. PREGNANCY. E V E R. Unlike the other four dragons' mates, Petal is completely stress free without a worry in the world other than the normal pregnancy pains and sickness. A dutiful mate by her side, hundreds of servants at her beck and call, a doctor on stand by for any moment- Lotus has the nursery and nest prepared within the first three months, and is fully prepared mentally well before the birth. By the time the birth day arrives, Lotus has ten back up plans for various scenarios in case anything goes wrong and had already asked Hydrangea cookie to be the godmother is anything should happen to them or their mate in the future. You know. JUST in case something happened to them. They wouldn't want their heirs to Lotus Paradise to be left all alone before they were old enough to inherit the island. Lotus will sit by her sit and serenade her on their mandalin or dance for her- But usually they will play and hum lullabies to the babies. They're sure they'll love music, dancing, and art just as much as their parents do. And they read talking to the babies and playing soft music was stimulating and helped to form bonds with the children before they're born, so they take every opportunity to form that bond before then. Sometimes they don't play or sing at all sometimes they'll read stories to Petal's stomach or explain things about Lotus Paradise. "The correct way to feed the plants is not to use any of those mainland chemicals! My own recipe is that we take the nectar from the flowers and mix it into warm water. You never want to use cold water. It will shock the roots of the plant and hurt them. Room temperature is fine however." They carefully explain the correct way to take care of the plants naturally as they gently lay their head on her stomach as she rubs the flow on their head. "I already have your schooling all planned out. Snake Fruit Cookie will teach you everything from math to the ancient language of your ancestors. You may have any instrument you wish. If I do not have it, then I will get it somehow. You all will be the most refined and cultured dragons ever to be hatched on earthbread. I can not wait to teach you how to dance."

-Pond Dino is so excited to become a big sister. "I'm gonna be a big sister!" The toddler happily declares to anyone who'll listen to the cute little girl. Lotus has some experience in raising children since they practically adopted Pond Dino Cookie as their own. "You must be gentle now. Mother needs her rest and you don't want to accidentally hurt the hatchlings before they're born." Lotus is very careful whenever the toddler wants to try and listen for movement in Petal's stomach or talk to the babies too. Honestly she's so adorable. There's a couple drawn pictures Pond Dino made for the nursery and Lotus couldn't bring themselves to say no so there's a few crudely drawn pictures hung up above the nest. Everything thinks it's the cutest thing every. Lotus loves their mate very much and knowing she's giving them something they've always wished for (wishing there was more flower dragons in the world-), makes them love her even more. "Darling, I love you more than life itself. Thank you for granting me my greatest wish."

LYCHEE DRAGON COOKIE:

-Everyone has a different experience to their pregnancy due to hormones. Desert Rose is more angry. Pineapple Ring is more irritated and grumpy. Butterfly is very nervous and needs to be reassured. Petal is the most happy and is prone to just randomly bursting into happy crying at the most random things. Well Actress is actually really sad. So Lychee is extremely surprised one day when one day they come home to their usually bright and chipper optimistic mate only to find them sobbing and ugly crying with Rambutan Cookie patting her on the shoulder. "HEYO!! Guess what I did on the mainlan-....Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait!" They point at her looking at Rambutan Cookie with a scowl. "What happened!? Who made her cry!?" Rambutan shrugs handing Actress a fifth handkerchief as she continues crying. "No one. She was helping me clean spring clean my hut today." "Then why is she crying!?" "I don't know. She accidentally knocked over a fruit bowl and just started crying like this." She went back to comforting Actress as Lychee just stares blankly. "It's alright. It's just a bowl of fruit. I already picked it up too. No harm done. We can even still eat them." "....A bowl of fruit? Seriously?" "I-I didn't me-me-mean to knock it ov-ver! I-I don't know why-why I'm crying!!" Both Lychee and Rambutan look at each other not sure what to do about the strange occurrence other than comfort her and wait until she calms down. "Are you good?" Actress nods sniffling, face pink. "Y-Yes. S-S-Sorry. I know it's not a bi-big deal. I don't know why I just started crying." "Maybe you've just been having a bad day." Rambutan tries to reassure her with a big smile. "It's alright! Everyone has bad days even if we don't notice it." "But that's the thing! I'm not having a bad day. Today's been great. I don't know why I'm crying over a fruit bowl!" Lychee patted her head from where they floated. "Eh. It's all over now anyways. No big deal." "Not the words I'd use, but they're right. You probably just needed a good cry because of something and your body just reacted on it's own. It's alright now. Why don't you two go enjoy the rest of your day? I can finish cleaning myself!"

-That was actually really weird. Actress had cried before. Nightmares, when that tree branch fell on Lychee and broken their wing, whenever she dragged them to the mainland to watch a play and the 'emotional' scenes roll- But a fruit bowl??? Eh. Rambutan's probably right. She just needed a good cry and now that she got it out of her systems, it's all in the past now. They write it off and just go about their day telling her how they scared a bunch of mainland cookies by pretending to be a sea serpent under their boat in their dragon form and scaring the jam out of them! "Lychee! It's not nice to scare them!" "It was so funny! One of them nearly fell over the edge but he slipped down the deck instead and crash into a stack of life vests! Should've heard her screaming! HAHAHA!!" "N-No. It's not. W-What if she fell overboard and her dough got sssoooogeeee-??" And she started crying again. Lychee is again just staring at her unsure of what to do as she starts crying AGAIN. "Ok! Ok! It's not funny! I won't pretend to be a sea serpent again! Just don't cry!" "I-I'm trying n-n-not toooo-" This is the start of an annoying pattern to Lychee's dismay. Two weeks pass like this. One small insignificant thing would start making her cry. Can't find her favorite outfit? Crying. Accidentally stub her foot? Crying. Lychee does something to upset her slightly that usually wouldn't make her cry? YEP! Ugly sobbing. "I don't know WHY this is happening!" Actress vents frustrated after she calms down from the third crying fit that day. Lychee is lounging on the back of her sofa staring at the ceiling. "This is started to really annoy me!" "I'll say! I know you can cry on command because of the whole practicing for years to become the greatest actress ever thing- BUT THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS!! I feel like walking on eggshells around you!...No offense, Actress." "No. None taken. *sniffle* I'm getting tired of this too but I don't know why it keeps happening. I can't control it! I'll just get upset and start crying uncontrollably!" "...Maybe it is some kind of stress?" She shook her head. "No. Can't be. I'm not stressed out at all except for getting fudging annoyed at this crying thing. Everything is peaceful here and nothing bad happened to make me upset." Lychee human glaring at the ceiling. "Maybe it's a spell from that squashed blueberry?!" "Unlikely. Haven't seen him since Pure Vanilla got to him. Besides putting a spell on someone just making them cry at every stupid thing isn't his style." "Well whatEVER this is, we better figure it out! I don't know how much more I can take!"

-Lychee DOES get their answer. Because the very next day they freak out at the sight of Actress violently vomiting into the grass outside her hut. Ugly crying while it happens. Despite the gagging and overreacting Lychee does at the sickness, they do eventually help her back inside the hut so she can get cleaned up. Later Lychee just goes off and comes back with a bunch of buckets filled with water and dumps it all where she vomited to wash it away and get rid of the smell. Once everything is settled, they come to see if she's ok. "You alright?" "Yeah. I guess those strawberry burgers from the mainland weren't cooked all the way or something." She guessed the dinner Lychee surprised her from the mainland wasn't fully cooked or something. "Then how come I didn't get sick? We ate the same thing." She shrugged. "Dragons have stronger stomachs than cookies, so you were probably able to stomach it way better than I could." "Hmm. Yeah. That does make sense. I AM wwwwaaayyy more powerful than you are. I just won't get anymore burgers from that cafe if they can't make a burger right!" Later that day Lychee made a secret trip back to the mainland and turned on all the sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen of the cafe and clogged the sink pipes. Making the cafe flood and costing them lots of money in water damage for causing their mate 'food poisoning'. However it wasn't food poisoning. Because the next morning the same thing happened. "Looks like that burger upset my stomach for a while." Then it happened again. And then again- After it happened for a fourth time and Lychee had to wash away vomit AGAIN, they dragged her by the arm to Rambutan Cookie crying. Rambutan Cookie dropped the firewood she gathered, when Lychee kicked in her door dragging a crying woman behind them. "RAMBUTAN COOKIE!! BRING ME RAMBUTAN TRIBE'S HEALER!!" After some explaining, a worried Rambutan Cookie quickly goes and brings back an elderly cookie, the tribe's healer. Lychee immediately points at Actress. "She keeps crying over nothing and now she keeps getting sick! What's wrong with her!?" Both of them watch as the old woman carefully looks Actress over with the intensity of a someone defusing a cherry bomb asking her specific questions- "When did this start happening?" "How long has it been going on?" "What else are you feeling during these times?" By the end of it the old woman just smiles at everyone. "Well I have good news. Your mate is not poisoned." "Well thank witches for that. But that still doesn't tell us why she's been acting so strangely." "No. But being pregnant certainly does." Everyone freezes up and Lychee almost falls from the air when the words leave her mouth. "SHE'S FUDGING WHAT!?"

-No body can believe it and Lychee makes Rambutan Cookie make the healer (a.k.a Rambutan Cookie asks the healer nicely to-) check again. But nope! Actress is confirmed one month pregnant and obviously dealing with morning sickness and hormonal issues- THUD!! "LYCHEE!?" Lychee just DROPS!! Like a rotten fruit falling from a tree and hitting the ground, the small dragon just splats face first into the floor in a dead faint to which Rambutan Cookie quickly moves her dragon friend to a chair and makes sure they're ok. First. Cue a lot of shock and confused yelling when they finally wake up. "HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!?" "Well when a dragon loves their mate very much-" "I KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED, RAMBUTAN COOKIE!!! I MEANT HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE!? A DRAGON AND COOKIE'S NEVER HAD HATCHLINGS TOGETHER BEFORE!!!" "Well-...Then that would mean you two are the first to do the impossible. Right?" That gets Lychee to stop yelling in a panic for a moment blankly staring at their friend. "What?" "Well you said it's never happened before right? Then if no one's ever done it, then you would be the first to do something impossible. A miracle no one has ever witnessed before! The Violet Dragon bringing more dragons into the world and being the first dragon to ever have a clutch with a cookie! It's a historical moment!" Thank the witches Rambutan knows exactly how to calm Lychee down. And that's by inflating their ego! Lychee draws a blank for a long moment before humming. "....You're right!" They smile suddenly beaming with pride! "I have done the impossible! The Violent Dragon! Savior of all dragonkind! HA!! Longan would never be able to top that even if they had a harem of females at their beck and call! Wait..Where'd she go?" "She's laying down in my guest room. She got a headache from crying so much."

-OH BOY!! Where to start with Papa/parent Lychee? Well if you think the other dragons being clingy was bad then Lychee takes it to a WHOLE other level! Because it doesn't take too long for their brooding instincts to kick in now that they know they have a clutch on the way. Actually it takes about two days before it slams into them like a truck! She wakes up in the middle of the night feeling miserable to find the dragon moving around furniture and the strong smells of cleaning supplies in the air. "Lychee, what are you doing? In four in the morning." They look at her with their pupils blown so wide nearly their whole eyes are blank...Oh no. She'd seen that look before when Lychee first imprinted on her being a mate. "Why are you holding my dresser?!" She still forgets how strong the dragon is despite their tiny size. "This..doesn't feel right. Go back to bed. I'll get around to the bedroom after I'm done with the downstairs." Here we go again. She just woke up later and immediately she was hit with the strongest smell of cleaning supplies she'd ever smelt. It made her cough and shake her head before looking inside and pausing. The downstairs was SPOTLESS. It literally looked like even the ceiling and walls were scrubbed as she looked around the suddenly hyper cleaned spaces. The hut's window so clean she could almost see her reflection in the clear glass. Furniture all cleaned up and rearranged everywhere as she sighed. "Lychee!" She called. "What did you do?" "It was too dirty." She found them up near the ceiling already carrying a mop bucket and broom swung over their shoulder towards the upstairs. "Go and STAY with Rambutan Cookie until I come get you...This will take all day." Yes. Lychee only trusts Rambutan Cookie to be around her unsupervised. In fact- "They ordered me to guard you while they were busy." The purple and green haired cookie smiled at Actress from where she curled up on her guest bed sore. "By the sounds of it, their brooding instincts kicked up now." "....Brooding?" "You know. Like birds! Only much more worse since they're dragons who can breath fire and wield magic. It's ok! It's perfectly normal for them to go through this from what I've been told. It's just their instincts kicking in telling them to get ready for parenthood!" "And deep cleaning by house like it's been infested by the bread plague is a part of that?" "It's different for every dragon but yes! A clean environment is a safe environment for the eggs and expecting dragon in their eyes." Rambutan walks her back home the next morning (after she threw up again and apologized to the poor cookie for puking on her floor-) when Lychee didn't come get her yet. They both took a look around finding all her clothes recleaned and neatly folded away and the bathroom looked like it was brand new....Honestly that was probably the most spotless, cleanest toilet she had ever seen. And her mattress completely GONE. Left in it's place was something she'd never seen before. Was that- "Is that..a nest?" In the middle of the room was a mass of pillows and blankets and all her plushies Lychee gotten her all arranged inside a giant bird nest of large sticks and palm tree leaves, however jutted out of the nest in different places were LOTS and LOTS of those crystals from Lychee's throne room on their island.

-Actress is shocked however Rambutan Cookie is very impressed. "Wow. The whole place is so clean, and they managed to build this in just one day? They put a lot of work into this." A movement caught their attention. In the middle was a certain dragon poking half their head out of the mess. "Lychee! This is the second time you got rid of my bed!" She points at the giant nest. "What's this for?" Lychee frowns. "I told you to stay at Rambutan's hut until I came to get you." They disappear back into the nest where they heard rustling. "Im not done weaving the bottom yet! It's not ready for you or the eggs! And I'll be a wyvern before I let any sharp pointy twigs jab you in the stomach!" Actress only sighs. "It's ok. You can stay in my guest room for as long as you need." "Thank you...I don't suppose you have any pain killers too?" "We actually have this medicine that helped my mother when she was pregnant with me. I still have the family recipe for it. Cures any aches or pains including pregnancy pains!" She grabs Rambutan's shoulder. "You're a life saver." Rambutan Cookie really is the most sane one here helping her as Lychee prepares the nest and the rest of the house for their clutch.

-Remember when I said Lychee was THE clingiest of the dragons? That's not an understantment. They become a blood hound if you leave the house without them noticing. Even if it's just stepping outside to relax in the grass, eventually Lychee will be joining you in a few seconds. They're ALWAYS hovering over Actress fiddling and start carrying around a giant tote bag- "What's the bag for?" "It's a hatchling bag!" "....A what?" "Hatchling bag! I saw parents with baby doughs always carrying these around with stuff for their offspring on the mainland for years!" They dump out the bag on the floor and its revealed to be a baby bag...But not what she expected. "I asked Pitaya what they used for their hatchling. I got some chewy sap candy and a scratching post for claws-" They hold up a large blanket with a cord attached to it. "-and I have this heating blanket just in case you suddenly lay the eggs to keep them warm in!" "Lychee...Im barely five months." "You never know! You could lay eggs any day now! You could lay them today for all we know!" "How do you even know they're gonna be eggs?" "What else would they be?" Actress can not convince them to stop carrying the baby bag, but it IS cute how prepared they want to be. Surprising even Rambutan that they actually asked Pitaya. Like the other dragons they also want to keep her in the nest and they ban her from leaving the mainland or even Rambutan Village until the eggs are laid. Lychee nearly had a heart attack when Actress tried performing one of her handstand tricks. "ARE YOU TRYING TO SHAKE UP THE EGGS IN THERE!? YOU COULD SCRAMBLE THEM BEFORE THEY'RE EVEN LAID!?" Nevermind that's not how it works. They immediately pick her up and carefully plop them down in the nest again yelling at her the entire time about how stupid that was and how she needs to be more careful because- "You're carrying the clutch of the Violet Dragon!!" They insist on baths together in case she slips in the tub and like those funny dog videos of them following their owners to the bathroom will sit outside the door waiting for her nervously fiddling with the hatchling bag the entire time. It can get annoying with Lychee's shrieking and demanding personality but when they're cuddled up against her in the nest concerned and worried genuinely, she melts at the cute puppy dog face they give her stomach. "....Am I doing everything right?" "You're doing the best you can." "Is that enough!? I've never had parents! I don't know what to do! I've never even held a baby before!" They actually get teary eyed. "What if they hate me just like the rest of the Rambutan Tribe does?" Actress ends up holding a tiny crying dragon in their arms trying to shush them. "They're not going to hate you. They're going to love you! You're gonna be a great parent! You'll see! Besides, you have me and Rambutan to help you! Everything is gonna be alright." "WWWWAAHHHH!! I hate mushy cookie feeeeeliiiinnngs!" "I know. I know. Just let it all out. Ok?"

-Lychee tries using the fact this is considered a 'miracle pregnancy' to both brag to the other dragons who are horrified knowing Lychee reproduced- "Oh dear witchesss no- THEY'RE MULTIPLYING!!" "The only way this could be worse is if it was Longan who sired those children." The only one who's nice and congratulates a heart broken Lychee is Lotus. They also try to sell this as a miracle to the rest of the Rambutan Tribe- "I'm siring more dragons for them to worship! They've GOT to love me now!" The villagers are both happy for Actress and give congratulations and leave offerings at her hut, but are also nervous because-....Well this IS Lychee Dragon Cookie. The Violet Dragon isn't known for making the best choices or being responsible even though they're trying their best genuinely during this time. They also get the REALLY powerful urges to just take Actress back to their island and make her stay in a nest within their crystal caves but Rambutan Cookie manages to convince them that it would be safer for Actress to remain in the villages with them so she has easier access to a healer and lots of help if she needs it. Again Thank witches for Rambutan Cookie! She really is a life saver for Actress during these times. Lychee has also gotten used to the constant crying fits. They learnt to carry around at least five boxes of tissues in their 'hatchling bag' and some chocolate for Actress whenever something as dumb as a knocked over fruit bowl makes her bust out crying. The healer explained it was normal due to hormones and once the eggs are born, she'll stop. So Lychee resorts to just letting Actress clutch onto them like a teddy bear as they cry, eat chocolate, and use the tissue supply. Second to Lotus prepare for the nursery and nest to be GORGEOUS!! Actress had no idea Lychee was capable of decorating so well, but the crystals woven into the nest and decorating the whole nursery carefully placed to look beautiful was maginificent!

DURING THE BIRTH:

They have different reactions depending if it's eggs or live birth since as a cookie their mate has a 50-50 percent chance of producing either. But dragons are highly known for clutches so ya'll are gonna be having twins or triplets regardless.

ANANAS DRAGON COOKIE:

-It happens suddenly without warning. It's just a normal day and the two of them are having a grand time. Pineapple Ring is sitting on the sand with her feet in the waves. Ananas playfully splashes her with their tail. Laughing and talking about how they couldn't wait to take their hatchlings to beaches and all over Pineapple Island. When Pineapple RIng suddenly freezes. Blinking and grabbing her stomach, then with the calmness from all her experiences of the retired traveling adventurer she inhales. "Ananas." They pause in the middle of shaking their wings dry. "Yes, Dear?" She stares at them completely calm which makes this moment comical. "My water just broke. The babies are coming." Ananas freezes fully jaw wide open in a smile...Many Mango Tribe members blink as a yellow blur just goes flying past at breakneck speeds. The dragon ends up busting into the resident village healer's home, probably ripping off the door with them by accident. They'll help fix it as an apology later, right now- "Help me please!!" "Great Golden Dragon!" The Healer is shocked their door is destroyed and a panting dragon is standing there panicking and clutching a pregnant annoyed woman. "What's wrong!?" "Nothing's wrong-" "My mate's gone into labor! Help her!" Thus the entire Mango tribe gathers outside the healer's hut in excited anticipation since Ananas yelled loud enough for their whole island to hear. Ananas is NOT leaving her side, not even if she orders them too. They're sitting right there by her side allowing her to destroy their hand as she screams through the contractions and following the healer's instructions. Finally after four hours of labor, it's all over-

LIVE BIRTH: Ananas nearly falls to the ground the first time they hear a tiny scream. And then again when the second cry follows just ten minutes after the first. They genuinely think they went into shock for a moment, for once the egotistical dragon says absolutely nothing. No boasts. No jokes. No compliments. Just staring in awe at the two yellow baby doughs with useless little wings like theirs twitching on their backs and little tails thumping against the healer's arms as she hands them over. "Congratulations, Great Golden Dragon! It's a healthy pair of twins!" Ananas says nothing at first before shaking their head. "No. My wife holds them first even before me. It's only because of her that I even have this miracle. Give them to her first." The healer carefully sets the twins in her arms as she lays there exhausted listening to them gurgle about. Meanwhile after a moment Ananas starts crying watching the whole scene. "Thank you! I love you! I love you so much."

EGGS: After four hours of labor, two yellow eggs with orange speckles are cleaned up and handed over to Ananas who takes them with trembling hands but holding them with care. Pineapple Ring gives the eggs a look between sweating and panting. "...Are..they ok?" Ananas immediately takes their time checking over them before instinctively pulling them closer to their higher body heat and wrapping their wings around them to better incubate the heat to them nodding. "Yes. They're both unharmed without any cracks." They beam at her with tears in their eyes, reaching out a hand to rub her head. "You did an excellent job. Now it's my turn to care for them and give you the long deserved rest you need."

PITAYA DRAGON COOKIE:

-No one knows how, but somehow Pitaya sensed something was going to happen today. Their instincts were screaming at them to keep their mate in the nest and they were glad when they convinced Desert Rose to stay inside today and relax promising to get her WHATEVER she wanted. They hovered about her ensuring she was ok which did seem really weird for Pitaya, but about midway through the day she was glad they were hovering around when massive pains coursed from her lower stomach down to her hips and calves in waves without warning off and on. "PITAYA!! SOMETHING'S HAPPENING!!" The dragon freezes right there- Before a pillow flies through the air and nails them square in the face at high speeds. "DON'T JUST STAND THERE!! GET A DOCTOR!!" Once again the Mala Tribe's healer is literally kidnapped. She was just having a nice day sorting some medical herbs into jars- Cookies look up when a pink and white blur just CRASHED through her house. Pitaya didn't even use the front door. Just CRASHED through a random wall startling the poor woman into screaming bloody murder. Cookies watch in shock as the Red Dragon flies away quickly with a screaming cookie slung over their shoulder leaving a destroyed house behind-....Don't worry. Desert Rose makes Pitaya go back and help repair her house after she's rested up enough to yell at them for it. For now the kidnapped healer is shaking being dropped at the groaning woman's feet with a panicking angry dragon pointing at her. "You'd better do sssomething about thissss!" Unlike Ananas, Pitaya is actually kicked out of the house by Mala Sauce Cookie as the healer and a few mothers from the tribe help their screaming, groaning mate in pain. Pitaya spends the next few hours with Snapdragon trying to reassure the toddler their mama was ok, destroying nearby rocks and things out of stress, roaring into the sky loud enough Lotus can hear it all the way on their isle until they just resort to hitting their head over and over against a wall waiting for their mate to get done worried out of their mind.

LIVE BIRTH: THUD!! "TAYA!!" Snapdragon worriedly looks at their parent after Pitaya faints with a heavy thud when they hear the first cry. They lay there unconcious unable to hear the second or third cry either, so by the time they're finally woken up(Mala Sauce Cookie pours water over their head to wake their butt up-) and race inside, they're shocked to find not only one, not two, but THREE pink and green baby doughs in Desert Rose's arms and one in her lap. One sleeping, one looking grumpy, and another babbling loudly. Meanwhile Desert Rose looks exhausted out of her mind. Silence is had..before Snapdragon runs up to her. "MAMA!! You ok?" "...Peachy." She glares at Pitaya. "I am NEVER doing this again. I hope you know that." "Siblings!!" It's cute how Snapdragon is immediately hovering over them. "Hi, Siblings! I'm big sibling now!" Eventually Pitaya walks over just falling to their knees seeing the three little babies with wings and tails...They just lean forward to rub their head with hers as Snapdragon is babbling away excitedly to one of the babies. "...Thank you." They whisper.

EGGS: Pitaya pauses in hitting their head against the cave walls once they notice everything is now deathly quiet. Then the door opened to let Mala Sauce Cookie poke her head out. "Hey! Are you going to come in and see your mate or what?" She barely has time to move out of the way before the two dragons are barreling past her and into the cave. Immediately Pitaya goes straight for the nest ignoring everyone else as their first priority is their mate exhausted and laying in the nest as the dragon grabs a hold of her face. "Your ssscreamsss were loud and powerful. The pain you endured wasss eating at me." "I'm...fine. I'm more worried about Snapdragon dropping the eggs." "WHAT!?" They snap to look further down the nest were they find three dark pink eggs with green tops, one of which Snapdragon held to them, tiny wings barely fitting around the egg. "Look! I'm big sibling now!" Pitaya is in awe at the tiny trio of eggs Snapdragon is already hoarding to themselves but they manage to gently take one away from their first born to gently hold it. They just stare in awe at the tiny green-magenta egg for a long moment before instinct kicks in and they stare gathering the eggs, and Snapdragon as a result to hold against them for body heat. They can't believe that they actually have a (bigger) family, but they're going to do everything to protect it.

LONGAN DRAGON COOKIE:

-They know. No one is sure HOW. Maybe they saw it in a vision before they got their orbs taken away by the other dragons. Maybe being the strongest dragon made them more connected to their mate's needs and children? Maybe their instincts kicked in and just knew. No one knew but SOMEHOW they woke up that day knowing that today was the day Butterfly was going to finally give birth to the family they always wanted. So she's surprised when she wakes up to Longan moving her into the nest they prepared and giving her a tray of food. "Make sure you eat all of it. Your body will need the energy today." She has no idea what they meant but she's glad for the yummy food! Her favorites too! Longan then tells Dragon Eye to go to Lotus Paradise immediately with a message. "Tell Lotus that your mother needs emergency medical attention immediately and a midwife must come." Dragon Eye tilts their head in that innocent way children do. "Why? She seems just fine to me." "Today your siblings will be born. They will need help. Go immediately and make haste." Dragon Eye doesn't need anymore convincing than that as they run off towards Lotus Paradise. Butterfly is relaxing in the nest for a while happily while Longan massages her back and shoulders making sure she's relaxed and as less stressed as possible. They already have servants prepared everything they need. Warm water, towels, etc. Everything's prepared for the birth. Everyone is surprised and super confused when Lotus shows up with their best doctor in town following Dragon Eye and found no medical emergency going on like Longan claimed. "What is the meaning of this?" "My mate's body is about to go into labor. I require medical attention for her." Their eyes narrow in disgust at the cookie doctor Lotus brought with them. "However I had hoped for someone who wasn't a cookie." Lotus has no time to rip into Longan for their trickery because they all looked up when Butterfly made a sound of pain and clutched her stomach. "...It's begun." Longan refuses to leave the room! They are NOT missing the birth of their children for anything! So no matter what Lotus says, Longan is planted behind Butterfly and rubbing her back and holding her hands. Lotus eventually gives up and helps to keep her calm while the doctor does their job and a servant of Longan's is ordered to keep an eye on Dragon Eye Cookie in the meantime during the hours of crying, screaming, yelling, and at one point Longan suffered Butterfly grabbing their horn and shaking their head for putting her through this which Lotus will laugh about later but eventually it all comes to an end.

LIVE BIRTH: Longan is still and silent as two cries enter the room and they patiently wait, watching intensely as the doctor works to clean up the white crying blobs and wrapping the baby doughs in cone blankets.  A minute later they're handed two babies wrapped up in cone blankets. COOKIE baby doughs. They frown because how could they have made weak cookie babies!? The only trace of dragon heritage is the little horn nubs on their foreheads and the slit eyes. However despite being baby doughs somehow they ARE pure dragons. They are still happy that the adorable children sleeping in their arms. They carefully look over each one fast asleep in their arms before being satisfied and passing them to Butterfly who was already holding her shaking hands out and wanting to hold her own children. "They're weak for now but they're ours and they will grow to become full dragons. In fact-.." They stare at her for a long, long moment considering something. "What if there's another way to bring about the age of dragons?" "If you think i'm going through this again, I'll throw you into the ocean." Takes your threat seriously as they should.

EGGS: Longan is over when moon when two beautiful pure white eggs with shiny gold speckles are cleaned up and passed over carefully to them. Longan is careful when they examine each one before carefully wrapping them up in blankets and placing each inside the nest. They're both perfect. Not a single crack or blemish on them, as expected of their mate. She gave them the perfect eggs. "You've done well to bring our children into the world." They turn their attention to their exhausted mate immediately who's covered in sweat and breathing heavily, rubbing her back. "Rest now." "What ..h-happens now?" "I take over their care to ensure they hatch. You have already done your part of the delivery." Dragon Eye comes hopping in just a little bit later and Longan happily shows them their soon to be little siblings. "You three are the first in bringing back the age of dragons. Gaze upon them as you realize your destiny." ".....When do they hatch so I can play with them?" "...I have to sit on them for five more months."

LOTUS DRAGON COOKIE:

-As said, out of ALL the dragons' mates, Petal has the most graceful one. So it's just the two of them one day spending time together as usual. Lotus is playing softly on their mandalin as their mate is painting something in the comfort of their bed (with safe paint made from 100% natural ingredients can't have chemicals risking the safety of the babies now-). Lotus suddenly stops as their darling hisses one hand clutching her stomach. "Darling?" "I'm alright....It's just that suddenly there's this pain in my lower body and it's getting worse." Lotus knows IMMEDIATELY what that means. They're dropping their instrument and getting up so quickly that Petal is even surprised. "HYDRANGEA COOKIE!! SUMMON THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY!! I WANT THE BATHE FILLED UP AT ONCE!! BRING TOWELS!!" They read water births are less stressful than ones in a bed so while their instincts WAIL at them to take their mate to the nest instead they head for the onsen. The servants scramble to fill the tub and prepare everything the Blue Dragon instructs them to do with intensity as the doctor is forced to come back to Lotus Palace for the birth. Lotus is just as excited as they are nervous! This is it! They're finally becoming a parent! They actually get IN the bathe with Petal and hold her body from behind as she goes through the pain and emotions, letting her destroy their hands, and giving her encouragements while she screams and cries from the pain. Out of all five dragons, Lotus and their mate has the least stressful birth because of all their planning.

LIVE BIRTH: Lotus was beaming when one little cry made it into the world. By the second one ten minutes later they were shocked but ELATED!! By the time the third one is finally delivered twenty minutes later they're smiling with tears streaming down their blue-green cheeks. The first thing they do is get Petal situation before anything else, slowly taking them out of the bathtub and handing her over to a few servants to take her to a separate bath and get her all cleaned up, dried, and carried back to bed. Lotus is the same, ordering their servants and Hydrangea Cookie to clean up the tub and onsen while they go clean themselves up and orders the crying hatchlings to be taken to the bedroom. Once everyone is all cleaned up and situated do they FINALLY get to look at their triplets with a big smile. "They're....perfect. Just like I knew they'd be." Three perfect blue baby doughs with little buds not yet blossomed are fast asleep on the bed next to Mama Petal. All have Lotus's features including the tiny gemstones embedded into their heads as the blue chubby blobs sleep away. "My Darling, how are you feeling?" Petal just lays there all clean but exhausted in the bed. "I'm exhausted. I feel like I fought a dinosaur and lost." "Hmhm. Yes. You're going to be tired for a while after from what I understand. However rest assured that I have everything under control. Sleep now. You deserve it after fulfilling my wish."

EGGS: Actually a LOT of it goes about the same way if you both have eggs instead of live birth. Lotus makes it a priority to get you BOTH cleaned up first and have the entire onsen cleaned while ordering Hydrangea Cookie to bring the eggs to the bedroom. Once Lotus checks to make sure Petal is taken cared of and alright, then they finally turn their attention to the nursery and the trio of eggs inside the beautiful flowering nest. All three are different shades of blue but they all fade to the same dark green near the bottom. One by one they slowly pick up each and every one of them inspecting them for any damage before placing them back in the nest and tucking blankets around them to keep them warm as a VERY nervous doctor cookie stands by. They're happier than they've ever been in their hundreds of years of living. Three beautiful flower dragons will hatch out of the eggs and they'll be the most radiant of all dragonkind.

LYCHEE DRAGON COOKIE:

-It happened so randomly and not on a day they expected. Lychee had it ALL prepared. The healer gave them a due date, Lychee got everything ready for that day, and made Rambutan Cookie bring the healer all the way to their hut as everyone waited...and waited...and waited. By the time sundown came Lychee was both anxious and FURIOUS pointing at the healer. "YOU TOLD US THE EGGS WOULD BE COMING TODAY!!" "No. I gave you a rough estimate of when they COULD arrive. I didn't guarentee anything." Lychee is disappointed and very worried. Does this mean the eggs are duds? Were they doing something wrong? They thought pregnancies weren't supposed to be more than nine months max! "It's alright, Lychee. It was just a false alarm is all." They end up pouting. However four days later it WASN'T a false alarm when Actress nearly fell down due to the sudden jabbing pain in her guts and lower stomach. Rambutan Cookie dropped an entire homemade pie when Lychee kicked in their door breaking it!!...Again. "RAMBUTAN COOKIE!!! GET THE HEALER!!" The panicked dragon wails. "IT'S HAPPENING FOR REAL THIS TIME!!" And it was. However Lychee was asked to stay out of the bedroom- "FUDGE NO!! THAT'S MY MATE HAVING MY EGGS AND I'M SUPPOSED TO WAIT OUT HERE!?" "You're panicking could stress out the mother and what we want is the easiest birth possible. However if you could make some warm water and towels, that would be a big help." "I-!!" Lychee doesn't get to protest before the door is shut on them. "WHO DOES THAT OLD COOKIE THINK SHE IS ORDERING THE VIOLET DRAGON LIKE THAT!?" It was actually for the best Lychee waited outside the door because they were constantly zipping around the hut as Rambutan Cookie watched, teleporting here and there, jolting every time Actress made a loud yell outside the door- Eventually they resort to pacing back and forth in front of the bedroom door making dog like whining noises while looking at the door.

LIVE BIRTH: As soon as the little cries reach their ears- THUD!! "Lychee!?" Rambutan Cookie rushes over to help the fainted dragon up off the floor and holds them awkwardly patting their cheek trying to get them to wake up. "What...happened?" They asked dazed. "You fainted." "I DID NOT!! I do not faint! Dragons are superior beings who'd never-" A second wail comes from the bedroom and once again the dragon goes limp in Rambutan Cookie's arms. Eventually she gets them to wake up and not faint this time. Lychee literally busts into the bedroom without a second thought sweating in a panic. "I'm here! What did I miss!?" "Shhh!!" Actress tiredly points her head to the two cone blankets in her arms. "Be quiet. They're sleeping." It takes Lychee a long moment just hovering over the nest watching but eventually with some encouragement from Rambutan and Actress, they finally land in the nest to look at them and are shocked and awestruck. Two purple blobs are laying there in her arms, tiny horns and wings and tails too as they both derpily slept away in the cone blankets. "...Di-Did I..really make those?" "We both did. Aren't they cute?" ......Lychee huffs proudly. "Of course they're cute. They take after me after all." Let Lychee have this, they're nervous af and just want to cuddle up to them all after.

EGGS: Pretty much goes through the same panicked emotions and Rambutan Cookie has to attempt to keep their dragon friend calm while their mate gives birth to their eggs. Eventually when they're finally allowed in (when they bust down the door), Actress is exhausted and covered in sweat but perfectly alright. Right next to her is two perfectly smooth dark purple eggs. They absolutely terrified but instincts eventually drive them to enter the nest and crawl up to the ends, gently inspecting them for any damage before practically burying them within the blankets and gently placing themselves on top of them with pupils blown wide. Instincts telling them to incubate the eggs with their already unnaturally warm body heat. However it's hard for them to incubate both eggs with their tiny body so it looks pretty funny. Lychee solves the problem by dragging Actress over so they both can share bodyheat with the eggs and each other with cuddles.
