love the fact that "shabuir" is an extreme insult that mandoa.org translates as calling someone a "jerk but much stronger", when in fact, it's literally calling someone a fuckup, deadbeat parent
like it's pretty clearly a compound word derived from "shabiir" (to screw up) & "buir" (parent)
which makes it such a good and incredibly mando culture specific insult.. love 2 see it

- a mirror to the saying "Aliit ori'shya tal'din." ("Family is more than blood.") - a derisive way to describe mandalorian clans that have lost their ways re: importance of adoption and welcoming new family, or become too obsessed with blood descendants & children's genetic potential - often a criticism towards any that imply preference to being mando by birth vs. coming into the culture later in life
