ULLA!!! The BBC #WarOfTheWorlds has, at the very least, an excellent start. This is very much the familiar story, but there is a lot here that's new to this version, including a fascinating look for the Martians, and a strong character focus (which is something definitely absent from the original book). It's being broadcast from the 17th of November, do not miss it. Mind, given how dazzling the look of it is, I wish all three parts would be on the big screen!
