Question: What are your thoughts on Mammon being “the father that stepped up” for Octavia regarding Mamtella/Golden Goose?
Sorry it took me so long to answer! 😔I thought about this and now I'm gonna say... It could be very interesting! 🤔
I mean, Mammon and Via share a pair of things in common (playing guitar, asexuality). Therefore they have the opportunity for bonding, understanding each other, experience exchange, etc..
However, there are also reasons for the conflict between them:
Octavia HATES clowns
Mammon's the embodiment of Greed
Which isn't actually bad because this might create a funny dynamic, maybe the characters development even. So I can see potential.
Then why haven't I developed this topic yet? Well, I'm not sure if I'm able to implement that properly, keeping everyone in character. I do stand by the idea of adding morally grey layers to Mammon and Stella but making them completely kind and sympathetic doesn't feel right to me as well.
