They are! Well, a lot of what they say depends on the species. Like... black widows are very polite. They are the only species I hard say "Please" and "Thank you" in their everyday language. Usually the first thing they say is "Please, don't come too close". Well, this most arachnids, even if depending on the species it can go from "WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU WANT F*CK OFF" to "AAAAAAAH OMG don't squish me". But they're easy to befriend once you explained them that you will not squish them. Very chill creatures. Happy to live in your house, actually. Or in a jar. Excellent bug control. Sometimes they complain about humans... they're actually more scared of us than we are of them. Guess what is the most difficult spider species to communicate with? What is the most difficult snake species for you?
I suppose that makes sense about the Black Widows. In the snake world, the more deadly the snake, the more they can bother with the pleasantries. The calmer they are. They know they are at the top of the chain, you see.
Hmm. I can imagine that would be their first concern. Humans do tend to distrust arachnids. I do leave the ones in my home be, for the most part. They are excellent insect control. And I have a soft spot for predators, regardless of size.
As for a guess...the jumping spider? I would imagine their thoughts would be...erratic.
Snakes, well it depends. King Cobras are arrogant, and therefore unpleasant to speak with. Cannot see past their own egos. Black Mambas are either sleepy and unintelligible or always on the go and speak too quickly. And the common grass snake is a very simple creature - one cannot have any sort of meaningful conversation with one.
For the mamba mentality. My heart goes out to everyone's families. This is truly unreal.
