2010’s MAMA was maybe one of the best awards show . Here I am again with a new stage that I still remember vividly.

I was watching it live, was happy seeing Taeyang swagging on stage and Playing with Dara, when suddenly they appeared ! Yes, GD & TOP weren’t scheduled for the performance when they bragged in ! 

They weren’t scheduled ! And this marked the first stage of the sub unit GD & TOP.

Why this is a good performance :

– Movie like performance (until the end)

– The surprise arrival of GD & TOP

– The one and only time BB sang an OST song (maybe the only OST song, it was for the drama iris)

My heart still beats fast when TOP comes on the stage !

*Sigh* enjoy guys !

Korean artists stages are sometimes mindblowing, I juts couldn’t go on without sharing some of them with you guys, showing that a stage setting and story can change your perception, interest… It also cements an artist’s branding.

The first stage I will introduce you to, is 2PM 2010 MAMA performance. This stage took my breath away, as it said a story originally !

The reasons are : – Different emotional stages of breaking up played by each member – The stage was transformed into a live MV – Each song was perfecly matching the emotional stage – Each member’s talent was highlighted – The closing was going back to the original broken beasts image they have.

Enjoy one of the best performances in Kpop’s history !
