hii @malteseboy!! i’m sorry this is really late but i’m your substitute secret santa!! i hope you enjoy your gift <3
since you said you like the little prince here’s a pdf of the romanian version
i don’t know if you’ve already seen this interview seb did with a romanian tv channel last year for Romania’s National day but it’s really cute and he’s speaking romanian (!!!!)
you probably already know this, but Seb was born in Constanța and lived there until he was 8, so i thought you might be interested in a few interesting facts about the city:
Constanta is the fourth largest port in Europe, ranked just after Rotterdam, Antwerp and Marseille
One of the most famous buildings in Constanta is the casino, that was abandoned after the ‘89 revolution, but despite the fact that it’s slowly falling apart it’s still as majestic and beautiful as ever, and is one of the main attractions of the town. Here is an article that includes some photographs of the building
it’ s the oldest continuously inhabitaed city in Romania (!!); it was built around 600 BC
later it was named “Constantiana” in honour of the sister of the Roman Empire Constantine the Great, Constantia, which eventually turned into Constanța
as a sign of respect for the muslim community, King Carol I built a mosque in 1910 called “ The Great Mahmudiye Mosque”
hope you liked it!! also hope you’re gonna have a great 2018 <3
