and i swear every time i’ve tried to play this game i’ve gotten really confused and had to look up how to interact with the hachiko statue because shiki talks about touching one specific spot on the statue and then there’s a mysterious blue patch just there just touch the statue just do it why won’t you do it

that's really sweet. i think for me you obviously used to occupy the fellow alchemist position but now i think you're somewhere on the spectrum from wild mermaid to wise wizard.

This puzzle is incredibly cute and also defying all my expectations of what jigsaw puzzles can do. I love it a lot already.

The Room Three opens with a little journal you can read that gives you a recap on the events so far, and like, as complicated as the lore of the room series all it really boils down to is that your friend A.S. went missing because he contacted an eldritch entity that manifests as black tentacles and it made him solve puzzle rooms in an eternal loop or something, and you were almost subject to the same fate but you escaped and then the null ate his house. Now you’re caught up, ready to play The Room Three if you want.

not one i’m familiar with and searching ‘sherlock holmes monkey with a gun’ didn’t yield helpful results

yep. i was gonna just carry on and do more things but i wanted to quickly see if there was any changes by beating the game and ended up remembering i’d killed someone i didn’t need to and essentially just ended up playing the whole thing again. it was a lot quicker this time, even floor 8 wasn’t too tough.
