Wow. The show is sold out for the entire week. Wow. What is #TheEdgeKL to me? On the surface, it's a musical about 6 people trying to understand why someone they love and care about is pushed so far to the edge that he's threatening suicide. But go deeper, it's about the love & care unsaid through a series of funny moments, bad decisions & things that we sometimes simply have no control over. It's about how mismatched expectations and untold truths can lead to unexpected results. I play the elder brother who felt like he was forced to do more than just be a brother and a son in his life. Yearning to be something else. Wanting to live up to everyone's expectations and make everybody else happy, hoping that it'll fill his own void. Personally, it's an opportunity to revisit my first musical. My first time playing a role that I was so moved by that it stayed with me for the last 10 years. So much so that I'd feel tears welling up inside just humming any of the tunes from it.
