[JUN 2026] Songsterr Tab for Weezer's "Sacrifice" has been completed and uploaded, as per user request!
"Sacrifice" was a 2002 demo that Weezer recorded as part of the testing period for their scrapped fifth album. Hot off the heels of Maladroit (2002), this track still clearly borrows its feel from that LP, what with its simplistic lyrics, varied drumbeat, and driving power chords. The track stands out for having a piano which seems to play over almost the entire song, although it is quiet enough that I mistook it for a twinkly guitar at first.
