     HE  KNEW  WHO  THIS  GIRL  WAS.  his  aunt  spoke  of  a  child  who  was  recently  rescued  and  taken  into  a  teacher’s  care  at  the  school  for  young  heroes.  was  this  the  same  person  ?  it  had  to  be,  it  wasn’t  as  if  the  adults  were  randomly  picking  up  abandoned  children,  they  weren’t  an  orphanage  after  all.  but  as  his  aunt  introduced  this  girl  named,  eri;  he  could  not  resist  the  urge  to  stare  at  the  protruding  horn  from  her  forehead.  there  was  his  answer  as  plain  as  day,  she  was  the  rescued  child.  ❛  my  name  is  kouta…  ❜  he  interrupted  his  caregiver  shortly  after  she  began  to  introduce  him,  even  stepped  forward  to  outstretch  his  arm,  and  present  his  hand  to  her.  it  was  what  he’s  seen  adults  do  when  they  meet  one  another.

   HIS FOOTSTEPS HALT & EVERYTHING FALLS SILENT except that of the beating of his heart THROBBING in his ears; WHAT..WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY ? His eyes grow wide . He can HEAR && SEE IT ALL; The SCREAMS , The TERRIFIED look in their eyes …. FREYA … it all FLASHED before him as if it was brand new. DAMN even to this day he swears he could still SMELL the LINGERING  scent of their BLOOD at his fingertips… His wide gaze then adjusts to fix on Eri.

   What possibly could have erupted such a question ? Could it be his soul was so far  GONE ? … so TAINTED… ? It oozed MURDERER so blatantly even the IGNORANCE of the youth have came to sense it ? ❛ Kid–I…  ❜ His fist clenched tightly into balls & he’s left TONGUE TIED. For the FIRST time in FOREVER someone’s opinion of him actually MATTERED. HE WOULDN’T –no he COULDN’T let her know of The  SECRET side of him, he NEVER let anyone see, it was too UGLY. He WANTS to keep her SAFE, no the matter the COST , in order to due so this was something he would have to  keep hid under lock and key. He soon finds himself STARING for TOO LONG & the intensity of his glare  was sure to frighten her  , she was gentle like that… He adverts his gaze to his his feet, tucking his hands into the pockets of his pants. 

Maybe for her sake ...  ❛ Well kiddo… I ain’t no ANGEL that’s for DAMN sure…❜ He should begin to DISTANCE himself from her...Just a little.     ❛ Ya got friends right ? You should go & play with them...I’ll catch ya later....  Be SAFE ‘ight ?  ❜
