#MeMadeMay2021 day 6 Today's memades includes 1 self drafted tank top from a fabric designed by @crystal.w.design via @spoonflower, 1 perfect fitting pair of self drafted dress pants made from a pointe knit (I was aiming for "they won't wrinkle”effect) that are long enough to wear heels if I want, and one pair of very basic beaded earrings. (The sweater is Mossimo Black from the clearance rack at Target, when I still worked at the one in Kzoo, so it's really old. If you're gonna buy a cheap sweater, might as well wear it until it's dead.) Fun fact, not everything I make turns out perfectly. I've make this tank top at least 10 times...maybe even closer to 20, but I messed up cutting it out this time. I've got 2 today.  1st, a self drafted dress, loosely based off of one from Express (pictures) and one from Athleta.  The one from Athleta had sleeves, but not the gathering on the skirt.  the fabric is from @joann_stores. #MeMadeMay2021 day 3! I worked with 4 year olds todays, and I totally blended in with them.  Shirt: Mccalls 6964, fabric by @katerhees via @spoonflower. I love her prints, this one, with the fun retro flair. (Yes, this should look familiar from last year, I wear it all the time!) Skirt: it's based off of a skirt I made from a Butterick pattern 15+ years ago.  I don't have the pattern anymore, but I still have the skirt!  It's made from an orange twill found in my grandma's stash, it might actually be vintage. The yellow topstitching is a buttonhole thread from her stash too! This outfit was purposely put together because someone sent me a mean dm saying I post too many cat memes on another platform. I love dressing up, even when it's not for work.  But I work pretty much everyday and Sundays are included in my work week.  I made this dress a few years ago, using a Butterick pattern. Very pleased with the shortie pj set all done except the bottom hem , and a slight adjustment to the arms needed as there is slightly more side boob than would be appropriate for lounging on the settee with the kids.
