Majapahit Piggy Bank (1300) - Early coin storage innovation
Kingdom of Singapura
A Malay Hindu-Buddhist nation that was thought to have been established and founded by the Fabled Raja Sang Nila Utama, a Prince from what is now Palembang, Indonesia.
The Kingdom lasted from 1299 to 1398, his Skin Dark Red symbolising his origin as a Simple Settlement and former Vassal to the Majaphait Empire known as Temasek. Lion ears and a Swordfish Tail, symbolizing the Lion that the Raja saw, the Merlion and the Swordfish invasion myth.
The Clothes and accessories he wears represent his past and his conflicts, the Crown he wears is woven by Leaf fronds and Tree bark, referencing the Orang Asli of East Malaysia and Singapore.

Day 30: Gayatri Rajapatni!
Gayatri was born in the kingdom of Singhasari, on modern-day Java, youngest of the four daughters of King Kertanegara. She had no brothers, and her eldest sister was raised as the heiress presumptive; Gayatri was educated alongside her. All this came to an end in Gayatri’s teens, when a neighboring ruler attacked and conquered the kingdom. Her father was killed, and the palace burned, but Gayatri escaped by disguising herself as a servant.Â
For the next year, she did menial work in the palace of the man who’d destroyed her kingdom.  In 1293, Raden Wijaya, husband of her eldest sister, launched a counter-invasion, claiming Singhasari in his wife’s name and adding it to his new kingdom of Majapahit. He then shored up his claim by marrying Gayatri and her other two sisters (who had been held hostage) as well. Gayatri seems to have been the favorite wife of Raden Wijaya, now King Kertarajasa. They had two daughters, and after his death, she was the one who served as Queen Dowager at the court of her stepson, advising him on problems and cultivating talented officials.
Gayatri eventually took vows as a Buddhist nun, hoping to retire from the world. After only a few years, however, her stepson died, and she was called back to court. As matriarch of the dynasty and an elder stateswoman, she was trusted to rule on the contested succession - and she did, choosing her elder daughter, Gitarja, who as Tribhuwana Wijayatunggadewi would become a legend in her own right.Â
