I haven’t posted much the past few days. My 82 year old Mom totaled her car in an auto accident last week and has been in and out of the ER and hospital 4 times since. My brother, sister and I had already been alternating having her stay at each of our homes due to other health issues she is facing now. I just wanted to give an update to let those of you waiting for me to answer messages that that’s partially the reason I’m behind. I’m working on catching up and answering questions now. It’s a small world after all! I posted a pic in my Friday Finds last week with my Granddaughter holding a cottage painting, and in the background one of the tulip prints in this pic was just barely visible. Little did I know that the artist is one of my followers @dalebstudios. I had just recently discovered her on IG, not realizing I had her beautiful artwork hanging in my dining room! When we moved into this house I really had to pare down...BIG TIME... so I sold, donated (a 24 foot truck worth) and gave away a LOT (outfitted a couple of apartments and gave my kids all things they wanted for their homes),but these were in my keeper piles! They are painted on toile, then beautifully matted in another toile fabric, framed and signed. They remind me a bit of the Old Dutch Master style painting. Happy to ‘meet’ this talented lady on IG.
