⭐ mailbirdramon has always been one of my favorites, in terms of both character and visual design. xros wars in general is just really special to me because it was not only my introduction to digimon, but one of the first animes i ever watched.

⭐ he was really fun to draw. a very complex silhouette, way sharper than what i usually draw. posing him was interesting too. my initial idea was having his wings folded, but that would look both awkward and bland. then, i decided to have his wings outstretched. i really wanted to have his neck and head upwards, but having it like this felt more right. i also tried a few different positions for his tail before settling on this.
