Before telling that story let me tell one thing.. my dad is a crazy chef. Once only once he tastes anything, he can replicate it in his Kitchen. No a bit different, not a bit similar but exactly the same. So, long back my mom was away for a family gathering to her native place. And of course dad was in charge, she used to call every couple of hours to weather we are healthy and alive. 😁🤭 I think after a third or 4rg call my dad broke down and cut the call. We'll it was heaven from then onwards. For the next 3 days we had ice-cream for breakfast. Believe me no Indian dad will feed you ice-cream in the morning or ever I'd he wants but the acidity from last dinner was unbelievable and we had no other solution. So every evening at 4 we ate these with milk. It is his favorite tea time snack. As some you might know, it's raining in Pune right now where we live. Till today I never understood her motivation behind this, when I ask her about it, her answer is so typical ' you will understand when you will become a parent'. Wow this always feel like an awakening, a few words not just touch your heart but also stay there as long as there is life in it. Till the end of time, I just want to remember the warmth of my loved ones, and a plate full of food in front of me😀. All your mom expects from you is a little bit of smile and a few dreams of her to come to life. I really feel emotions for those who are currently living away from home, you are never alone, just give a call to your mom. She is the one who will always pick up. .
