may I please have a Magnetbug
Magnetbugs! Around three inches tall, nocturnal omnivores that are nomadic in urban areas. Solitary, they will attempt to hinder and/or kill other magnetbugs on sight unless they are in their breeding stage. They can be seen seemingly aimlessly wandering alleyways and streets in search of food. During the daytime, they sleep stuck to the underside of metal objects, such as the roof of a drain pipe or the undercarriage of a vehicle. Their horns and feet are magnetic, so they'll hang either way to sleep.
Magnetbugs are highly intelligent. They've been known to use objects as tools and weapons frequently. If food is scarce, they devise elaborate strategies to hunt small animals, forage in gardens, or occasionally break into homes/businesses to plunder them. They don't have much for built-in defences, but armed with a nail or otherwise sharp object they can be dangerous when threatened. Be wary if you find evidence of one in your home, especially if you have pets or small children.
They live to about two years old at most before division. Breeding magnetbugs will congregate in small groups for a small period of time in secluded areas to spore together. The groups will squabble over resources, and can meet a violent end among each other. When fighting, they use their magnetic horns to throw and immobilize an opponent.
In the wild, magnetbugs have been observed rubbing against brushes or rough surfaces for enjoyment and to mark places they've been. Human-habituated or tamed magnetbugs have been known to enjoy physical affection from trusted humans and will rub their faces and backs aggressively into their hand. They leave an odd, metallic iron smell upon doing so, unique to the individual.
