Although the electromagnetic base secures the PRO-102 (Four-Speed Magnetic Drilling Machine) firmly to ferromagnetic surfaces, rust, paint, debris and dirt along with surface irregularities, insufficient voltage and base wear can reduce clamping efficiency.

This means that the machine will be safe and stable for operation with a clamping force monitoring system that will notify of any loss of adhesion. Also, a safety strap adds extra protection, making sure the machine still remains secured if  the clamp fail. Or in case of power cuts, the machine stays secured.

Automatic shutdown of the motor for longer life

To restart the motor again, it is required to replace the carbon brushes, which prevents damaging the motor also ensures timely maintenance.
