Browningâs alt mode was a smelting laser. A rather ignominious mode, smelting lasers were used by remote areas that couldnât afford a proper smelter but didnât really need one anyway. They could hire a bot like Browning to transform and melt down whatever they needed in short order. This work wore down our poor Browning, however, building to less and less quiet resentment. Eventually he was triggered (no pun intended) as his narcissism developed into a sort of messiah complex. Highly dissatisfied with the current state of affairs under the Council, he starts his Revolution. Through a series of upgrades he becomes unrecognizable, his alt mode evolving from a minor laser into a terribly powerful fusion cannon. Even the Councilâs weapons are barely a match for it. Gathering followers, Browning rechristens himself based on his new destiny to unite all of Cybertron under his rule, âsavingâ them: Galvatron. Galvatron bears much resemblance to his G1 iteration, but larger. He stands a head or two over most transformers. His more notable followers include Soundblaster (loyal and incredibly useful for spycraft), Cyclonus (the perfect second in command), Scorponok (who designed Galvatronâs current body and engineers most of their new weapons and tools, including experimental forms of combination), and Magmatron, who falls for Galvatronâs rhetoric under the promise of increasing his wealth beyond measure after the Revolution succeeds. He agrees to bankroll the Decepticons as they start expanding planet-wide.
