Mehr als bloß befreiend war die Erkenntnis, dass es auch weiterhin nichts bringen wird, wenn ich immer nur weiter klage über das Schicksal, das mich ereilt hat, all die Last, die ich mit mit herumzutragen habe.
Es ist meine eigene Entscheidung, wie ich die Dinge angehe und mit welcher Perspektive och auf mein Leben blicke. Sich dem hinzugeben, was man glaubt, nicht ändern zu können, ist der Weg des geringsten Widerstandes und irgendwie auch armselig. Wir sind so viel mehr, als wir manchmal glauben zu sein.
Sich selbst den Wert zuzusprechen, dass man all das sein kann, was man gerade nicht in sich sieht, ist mutig und magisch. Denn nur so haben wir die Chance, Großes zu schaffen. Wenn wir uns trauen aus dem Selbstmitleid heraus in die Welt hinauszugehen und zu sagen: “ Hallo hier bin ich. Keine Ahnung, ob das klappt, aber ich mache das jetzt.”
Lässt man sein Ego hinter sich und greift auch mal außerhalb seiner Komfortzone nach den Sternen, dann passiert etwas ganz besonderes. Man beginnt, wirklich zu Leben. Ein bittersüßes Leben, das nicht immer nur schön ist. Und ein Leben, in dem man sich nicht immer selbst bemitleiden und Recht geben kann. Das ist nicht immer leicht, aber es ist etwas viel wichtigeres:
