Yandere! Magician who sets his eyes on you, picking you out of a hundred others in the crowd. His dark eyes glimmering creepily.
"Yes, you! Would you like to be as kind as to help me with my next trick?" he asks, voice sickeningly cheery, his decorated face engraving itself into your mind.
You nod excitedly upon realising that you're who he's talking to.
Exactly like the tv shows you've seen colonising the internet, he confesses to wanting to make you disappear by covering you with a cloth and saying the magic words.
He opens the fabric slowly, letting the suspense build up strategically, watching as the crowd's faces go from nervous to impressed! The audience booms in applause, cheering as he bows to them happily.
But you're not.
You were covered with a blanket, blinding your vision completely before feeling yourself fall down suddenly. Gusts of wind pushes the way opposite to you, making harsh contact, rushing as if it was escaping.
The pit seemed endless and you move at an alarming rate, too fast to be safe by the time you arrive to the ground. You wait, fear taking over, for the final destination: the cold, hard floor.
It takes longer than you expected to come, but it's far from what you imagined too. You land in a heap of beds, piling up each other to soften the drop.
Heaving, you separate from the chair, getting up to see the surroundings.
It's just a dark basement. No decorations, furniture or any sign of life. Purely concrete all over the walls and floors. There's a faint light looming above you.
That's when you realised it was the worst form of a trick. Nothing is ever supernatural in these shows; everything is deliberate, set in stone before the tickets are even sold.
He's chosen you. You can hear everyone bursting into laughter as he cracks a joke. But you're in tears. Trapped and left alone.
It looks like you are the lucky winner for whatever he's planning, good or bad.
