Let's talk about the main locations of the story.

The story takes place in the fictional country of Escencia. An European inspired fictional country. More specifically it takes place on the city of Alimia where the main sparklers training academy is located.

Crux Caliber is said academy. An institution on the same level of education as a college, specialized in forming future sparklers in anything they might need. It also works as a gathering point for sparklers of all origins, think of it as the Adventurers Guild in a medieval fantasy story, just with magical girls and doubling as a college.

✨ Witch Shop ✨-Watercolor paint on Paper 2025-

This piece is something very new for me – my very first attempt to paint in the spirit of Studio Ghibli. 🌸 I’ve loved Hayao Miyazaki’s films (and Japan in general) for such a long time, and I always wanted to try capturing a bit of that magical, heartwarming atmosphere myself.

It’s also my first real experiment with watercolor – and I must admit, I fell in love with the medium while painting this little shop full of glowing crystals, floating fish and curious cats. 🐾💫
