The excitement around the upcoming Digimon Beatbreak anime continues to build, as Toei Animation has officially revealed the artists behind the show’s theme songs. Set to premiere on October 5, 2025, the series will feature MADKID and Ai Tomioka as the voices that open and close each episode.

The opening theme, “Mad Pulse,” is performed by MADKID, a five-member dance and vocal group known for anime work including The Rising of the Shield Hero. With an impactful drum intro and a bold, high-energy tone, the track is set to underscore the intense world of Digimon Beatbreak. The song will be available for digital release on October 5. MADKID shared their enthusiasm, noting that Digimon has been a part of their childhood memories, and they hope the song becomes a companion for listeners just as partner Digimon are for their characters.

The ending theme, “beat up,” is performed by singer songwriter Ai Tomioka. Known for a seamless blend of Japanese and English lyrics and viral tracks like “Goodbye Bye,” Tomioka makes her anime theme debut with an empowering song about believing in yourself and moving forward with determination. “beat up” releases digitally on October 1.

Toei also unveiled a new group visual marking one month until the debut, featuring protagonist Tomorou Tenma and his team with their partner Digimon, hinting at the bonds and challenges to come.

Story setup: Digimon Beatbreak introduces a fresh tale where human thoughts and feelings power AI devices, drawing the attention of Digimon who feed on that energy. Tomorou’s encounter with Gekomon sets him on a journey that reframes the relationship between humans and Digimon in a rapidly evolving world.

Cast and staff highlights: The series stars Miyu Irino as Tomorou, Megumi Han as Gekomon, and Tomoyo Kurosawa as Reina Sakuya, with original Digimon designer Kenji Watanabe returning. The project aims to honor Digimon’s legacy while pushing it into new territory.
