He's not always such a tease though. When Obito is feeling fragile and helpless, Madara is immediately there to care for his Omega, hushing and kissing him. On the flip side, he enjoys letting Obito show off. On the sideline like 'yes babe kill them! that's my Omega!' happy to be useless just to prove a point.

Madara picked Obito in large part due to his kind, trusting nature. Obviously he lost a lot of that during his time with Madara, but it's a part of him that Madara does genuinely like. Occasionally, even after all the trauma he's been through, he'll see that part of Obito come out. He'll help an injured animal, he'll kick a ball out of the scary woods for the kids that were playing with it, he carries groceries up stairs for the elderly. It's endearing, and even more so because he only does it when no one's looking. He thinks no one sees him, but Madara has eyes everywhere, of course he sees him. He doesn't tease him about it (although he really wants to) because he doesn't want him to stop. Madara wishes he still held those soft parts of himself, but it's been so long, he doesn't think he could ever be kind like that again. But, maybe he can learn from Obito...maybe Obito can show him how to love again.

In reality, Madara knows the effect this is having on his little prodigy, and he does it to stay in control. His favorite part is the comfort afterwards, after Obito has already tried to prove himself over and over again. Only then will he give him even a bit of validation and praise, to keep him hooked, to keep him desperate for more.

Thinking about Madara's long hair and how much Obito loves it <3 He loves being covered in it, when they cuddle, when they bathe together, when they hug, it's like a blanket. Obito will brush it when he's mad, because it helps him calm down. When he gets bored, he'll braid it. And within the Uchiha clan, hair grooming is very intimate, so Madara happily lets Obito do whatever with his hair. Although Obito's hair is short, Madara will comb it and give him little pigtails sometimes because he thinks it's cute and he wants to return the intimacy. People notice how well taken care of Madara's hair looks now, whereas before it used to be a tangled mess. He even lets Obito give him little TINY trims, just for the split ends, and that was after months of convincing. Obito makes sure to give him lots of kisses afterwards to make it worth it, and to make Madara's little pout go away.

They never really resolve this and just go back and forth riling each other up until it ends in some steamy jealous sex. In fact, Madara will do it when he's bored (and horny) just because he knows exactly how it'll end.

Obito waking up from his coma and his tiddies are just...gone. When he questions Madara on it, he's like "Oh yeah you didn't seem like you wanted those so I saved you the recovery and just did it while you were already passed out" and Obito's like...thanks??? Stranger? He doesn't have much time to process it between everything else going on, though. Madara's also like, the first person to know that Obito is trans and just not care. He just does these little supportive things that shocks Obito, especially in Konoha where that kinda stuff just isn't talked about. It's something he thinks about when Madara dies, his mind keeps coming back to how much he misses being seen. It was so easy with Madara. Being shirtless, letting his hair be long, stuff he wouldn't normally do yet came so naturally with him. It's only part of his complicated feelings amongst their complicated dynamic.

When Madara nags Obito about growing his hair out, he calls him narcissistic and 'you only like my hair long because I look like you' but Madara doesn't even deny it. Obito's lowkey a hypocrite tho cause he practically drools when Madara shows him how he looked when he was younger, but Obito denies it when he points out how eerily similar they appear when they're the same age.
