Summary:
When an old enemy, one Wukong believed to be dead after the Journey appears, and armed with new powers thanks to the Pillar's destruction, the Monkey King is confident that he and his husband can defeat him.
But strong opponents dealing with new, mysterious powers can be dangerous, even to the most powerful monkey of all.

 This fic has actually been rattling in my head for...months now. Since Fictober, actually, when re-reading this comic, right after seeing the prompts gave me brain worms...and then I started to overthink and 8 months later the fic is finally here.
