So here is a Celtic that I drew mid-summer. I loved it so much and there was so much meaning behind the colours that I end up having it tattooed on my skin. I drew it with @scottishvix & @littlesnowarrow and all of my friends, here on Tumblr and here in the tangible world, who have supported me and gotten me through some very very tough times.

I started these drawings as a practice exercise. Something to focus my mind and practice my shading. There is something so very soothing about the over-under pattern. And it was just something I was very familiar with that I could draw to build my courage about publicly sharing what I drew.
It worked. I love sharing my work and it has lead me to some amazing friendships for which I will forever be grateful.
