🧶M1R: Using R needle, lift running strand onto L needle so that it sits Eastern (with the leading leg in back), then knit it through the front leg (this is easier if you use your R needle to loosen it first, the way you do with a K2tog).
🧶M1L: Using R needle, lift running strand onto L needle so that it sits Western (with the leading leg in front), then knit it through the back loop (this is hard).
🧶RLI: Using R needle, lift R leg of the stitch BELOW the next stitch on the left needle onto the L needle, then knit it.
🧶LLI: Using L needle, lift L leg of the stitch 2 STITCHES BELOW the stitch you just knitted (i.e., not the stitch on the right needle, not the one below it, but the one below that), then knit it through the back loop.
