I found @markiplier's community almost three years ago, but it feels like it's been so much longer. I stumbled across your Sonic.exe playthrough by chance while watching some creepypasta videos (when those were still a thing lol) Ever since then, you've been a part of my daily life. Watching your videos has become routine, and what really means most to me is how encouraging your message is. When you posted the "I Feel Lost" video not long ago, I cried like a big bumbling baby. Why? Because I was in that place too. I'm currently getting through the last week of my freshman year of college. I'm studying graphic design and digital media. I feel a lot like you probably did when you first started Youtube. I'm doing it of course because I love it, but it's so intimidating to see my fellow artists. Even in the fandom, I feel intimidated to share my art alongside the other talented artists we have. Not only are these artists my colleagues, they are also, in a sense, my competition. We are all going towards similar goals and similar kinds of success. Youtube is like that too. It felt so good to know you've been in a similar place before. After watching that video, I just told myself: "If Mark didn't give up, I won't either." Just the next day, you had the Charity Water stream, and you showed my art live on the stream, as if the universe just wanted to say, "Yes. Don't give up." I found your channel when I was in a really hard place in life, and it feels so good to know someone truly and honestly believes in me. Thank you so much. My hope is I get to meet you this summer so I can really tell you how much what you do means to me. I have tickets for San Diego Comic Con, so I hope you're there again like usual. Even though conventions don't allow for much time to talk, just being able to thank you in person is more than I could ever ask for. So thank you, from the bottom of this Eastern Kentuckian's heart. -versaillesingray, aka Alyssa (inspired by the lovely @dogiplier ❤️️)
