                               “      I     don’t      know,      but      you      gotta      be      on    my      side,      obviously.      ”

                   snappish     retort,      raising      her      head            that      was     previously      buried      on      one      of      Cassie’s    pillows,      she      offers      the      younger      Howard     sister      an      irritable      glare      (     Maddy      doesn’t      like      when      people      turn     against      her      –      she      already      has      her     mother      for      that      ).     truth      be      told,      the      only      reason      why     she’s      even      sharing      her      relationship     issues      with      Lexie      is      because      Cassie     is      too      busy      chasing      after      McKay      to     bother      with      being      a      supportive      friend.           Thus,      left      with      no      other      option     when      she      notices      the      blonde      girl     isn’t      paying      attention      to      her      ranting     about      Nate      for      the      fourth      time,      she     simply      turns      to      her      sister      for     support.

                        “      it’s     like      –      i’m      not      wrong      …      am    I?      i’m      not.     ”      she     huffs,      lower      lip      sticking      out      as      she    rests      on      her      elbows      on      the      bed,     bare      legs      dangle      back      and      forth      –           this      was      supposed      to      be     a      dickheads      detox      session,      and      all     Cassie      can      do      is      talk      about      how     fucking      sweet      McKay      is.     Maddy      is      this      close      to      locking      her     friend      in      the      bathroom,      because      she’s     already      been      there      talking      to      her     boyfriend      for      basically      an      entire     fucking      hour.
