Disappearing under the waves, this lone smooth coated otter soon reappears with an invasive hybrid grouper in its jaws. Dragging its prized catch to the shoreline, it soon begins its feast, going for the fish's vulnerable gills first. Smooth coated otters can spend a few minutes underwater without surfacing, as well as using their sensitive whiskers to detect potential prey. 🦦🐟
