The Raveonettes: Raven in the Grave
I found The Raveonettes when they had just released "Lust.Lust.Lust." It was my first real intro to not only noise but also poppy noise. With their newest album, "Raven in the Grave" it sounds like they are taking a page out of New Zealand's coolest pop act, The Brunettes. Very sweet sounding vocals but over the Raveonettes distorted electronic guitars, it sounds like a whole new band.
I recommend getting this album because if you like the band then you'll definitely like how they've combined their usually stone cold electronic sound with very warm and heartfelt lyrics and vocals.
