I could be crazy off the mark here, but I think Jude's route has a reference to the Japanese tea brand Lupicia. I got really excited when I saw it 'cause their stuff is deliiiiiiish and it was NOT a reference I expected to see.

That's right, this is a special exhibition exclusive collaboration black tea with Lupicia-san. It's subtly sweet and sparkly, it's really delicious. ✨ I want them to sell it commercially… 😋🍑

First time making 琥珀糖!! Kohakutou is a very sugary jelly candy made with agar agar that sets to be crunchy on the outside and jelly-like on the inside. It can be used as a sweet in tea ceremonies, since the sweetness offsets the bitterness of matcha.

I didn’t have food coloring so I used two flavored teas instead, Lupicia’s sakura rooibos and etoile bleue…. although the etoile was a bit old and turned a mild green instead of the strong blue it’s supposed to, and the sakura rooibos wasn’t quite as pinkish as I’d hoped. I was also a bit impatient and didn’t let the first layer set for so long enough so my plan to make a layered design failed a bit. Nevertheless, the color lives up to its name of “amber candy”, and smells of cherry sakura tea - fragrant and sweet!

Would like to start a personal project. Draw 30 impression images for Book of Tea Japan 2020. 

The book of Tea is an annually released product from Lupicia, really love this year’s theme -  30 different beautiful traditional Japanese scenes. 

I decide to draw one impression image for each tea bag I opened. So this is the one I opened and drank today. The character on this image is an OC from my friend. 

I went to Fukuoka today.☀️

The Grand Marche was held there. 🍵☕️

It is an event that teas from around the world were sold. So, I participated the event with my mother and my aunt.

It was so fun that I would like to participate next year.😄
