And what of the warlords? Already young once and hurt by their government, young again and slaves to it. Boa looking at a version of her practically pulled out of time stuck in her worst nightmare or Jimbei looking at a version of himself living out a past he escaped by the skin of his teeth but so many he loved didn’t, even Doffy once again at the mercy of the people that already abandoned him, has Kuma not suffered enough? Given enough, is this child version of him doomed to repeat the same path he already could not escape from . Property of the world government, beholden to the celestial dragons, this version of me that cannot go free?

I am bound to be way off track and I'm sure it's been explored and discounted before, and that there is some logistical logical reason why this cannot be, BUT, as far as we know, King is the last of his line, right? (discounting the seraphim for now).

And the Lunarians have the ability to create fire (flame). (chapter 1022 above).

Imu and the Celestial dragons consider themselves God's, and Mary Geoise is called the Holy land (1022, above). Before the holy land it was God’s land ( Marco remembering WB's words: could depend upon translation too). Anyway, back to the flame:

King's attitude is pretty condescending, and the language he uses (in the scans at least) for his attacks is the language of royalty. (chapter 1035). I know that King was caught and tested on for endurance's sake (screen shot below):

But possibly he was tested on for more. I don't think that Kaidou uses similar entitled terms, although he is the one to give King that name. Has King come from or is he of the original Celestial Dragons (like the ones on God’s Land before the 20 families arrived, taking the literal meaning of the word celestial and dragon?) , and did the 20 families, under possible-(traitorous) Lunarian Imu adopt a similar attitude? Imu gaining the family name Nerona along the way? (Edited in).

What if King's ability to create fire beyond (or maybe even linked to) the fire on his back is from the mother flame? That the fire on the back is maybe passed along genetically, as seen by the seraphim, and possibly the ability to create fire also is. HOWEVER, there is only one lunarian (King) and maybe Imu left? Imu left his people to create the World Government. The devil's deal was maybe the loss of this ability, or no-one being around to show Imu how to harness/create this energy? The mother flame comes from a mother? Maybe there is something beyond creating weapons with the energy from the mother flame. Maybe it would also stop the exhaustion that Imu seems to experience when transforming into the akuma no mi (or maybe devil's fruit) form. York is definitely the unreliable scientist in the chain of production of an artificial/replica mother flame.

Other friends/sparklings - hmmm. I don't imagine there's a lot of them on the ship, honestly. Because the ones who might want to plan for one might not want to have them on the ship?

Both Nitrous and Stormsurge were accidents - combination between their parents not thinking it was possible (war not that long ago, stress and lack of nutrients having stopped the reproduction protocols) and, me and my friend discussed, maybe that Rodimus somehow accidentally activated the possibility to create like how he fertilised Luna-1 and got the hot spots going? We started yapping about how Ratchet finds out and has to make a PSA that everyone needs to be careful because Rodimus somehow activated the reproduction protocols on the bots onboard the ship.

Leading to a giant misunderstanding of people thinking Rodimus sparked them virgin mary style merely by idk patting their shoulder or being in the same room as them. So now Ratchet has a rush of bots being scared of being sparked by Roddy somehow and has to make another PSA that NO Rodimus has NOT sparked you if he gave you a pat on the shoulder or stood next to you - do NOT come to the medbay.

Edit: I got this wrong - it is Rung who activated the hot spots and fertilised Luna-1! When it comes to planned ones - maybe Rewind and Chromedome?

It just occurred to me that aside from people who are directly associated with the top levels of the World Government, like Vegapunk, the only people who seem to know about the Lunarians (or at least the ones who show that they're aware) are:

former Rocks Pirates (Big Mom, Whitebeard and Kaido) and some members of their crews (like Marco, Queen and at least some of the Beast Pirates)

Xebec's son (possibly: admittedly he doesn't confirm that he knows, he just reacts as if he does)

Teach and Linlin are both the kinds of people who could have done the research themselves. Both of them have related interests and are very intelligence oriented actors

But Kaido and Whitebeard? I don't see either of them even particularly caring about the topic, definitely not enough to look into it, which makes me think that someone told them about it

Either way the common denominator here is Rocks D. Xebec. We don't know for sure if he knew about this specifically, but he sure did know about a lot of things

Obviously there are probably other people out there who also know about the Lunarians (at least to some extent) and who just haven't mentioned the fact (there being a reward for information about them would imply that they're not completely hushed up, or at the very least not their features (we don't know if the reward thing includes anything beyond the description of their looks))

But I just find it really interesting that of all people, Xebec's crew in particular seem to know. And Kaido and Whitebeard especially seem to know more than just what the World Government would be willing to allow
