Saparata doesn’t belong to any nation, but he does enjoy partaking in a nation’s traditions and customs when he visits. Prior to canon events, Saps often visited Flux in Luminara (in their first settlement) or Jophiel in Tricolour, the two nations he visited the most in his life.
In Tricolour, you can make friendship bracelets between friends by first visiting the Scarlet Region to find gems in the caverns, going to the Azure Region to get a small seashell to represent yourself, and finish off by creating a string using plant fibers found in the Verdant Region. Saps still has his first bracelet he made with Jophiel and Fluixon from when they were kids, it even survived past his Colosseum fight. There’s a few other bracelets he made with others, like one with Thomas and another with Seraphim, but both were lost when the Day 4 Assassinations occurred.
Meanwhile, in Luminara, there’s a fall festival where people create water lanterns out of biodegradable materials for people to bring light to their wishes and resolutions. Before the events of the 2.5, they each wished for world peace, but Fluixon and Jophiel had very different resolutions to how they’ll bring it, and Saps didn’t have any specific way to do it.
Luminara is also known for their firework parties and a torch ceremony, where a citizen travels through every Pandoran nation with a single torch, at the end of the year. Luminara is known for hosting a lot of light themed events in its calendar.
This is awesome.. worldbuilding headcanons are AMAZING and I love to see it!!
Light themed events in the settlement called Luminara.. fitting! I adore the friendship bracelets as well hehe.. people in Tricolour swapping bracelets as a promise to stick together through thick and thin, and when if they break, say, after whoever made it for them/they made it with has passed, they make a memorial piece out of the remnants and place it near their grave.. maybe
When Jophiel dies, Saps goes back to the Azure region and finds a seashell as similar to Jophiel’s as he can, and adds it to his slightly too large bracelet.
Saps, after the arena fight and Flux’s burial, goes back to the bloodstained arena grounds and picks through the dusty soil, collecting the colorful stones and seashells that scattered around when Flux’s bracelet snapped. He takes the beads, carefully unties his own, weaves some of the fibers in with his own, and adds some of Flux’s beads to his own bracelet. A small part of Flux with him, forever.
By the end of 2.5 Sap’s bracelet is so oversized with memorials of friends he’s lost, he wears it as a necklace.
Final for the day: Master Luminara! I love this sassy, posh-voiced lady.
It’s so sad we barely know anything about her culture or species, but for some reason I always associated her with the moon. Even as a child. Don’t ask me why.
Fuck it here have luminara headcanons
- like in canon, 3belowzero is very young when he became the leader/lightkeeper of Luminara in 15 years old, he is a young genius, specialized in builds and redstone
- Luminara is a nation of scholars and inventors
- their headquarters is a big BIG light house, so big it can be seen from Yggdrasil's shore it has a few sections, the below sea level section is a storage room, the first floor is a lobby, and to up from there is just workshops, and some, a soundproof planning room, and near the top is a library full of books written by luminarans themselves
- the leaders of luminara are called lightkeepers
