More Luke

This one was made because while I was diving on ao3 I found some nsfw oneshots of them and apart from the fact that they're minors, It made me think of Zander as asexual and Luke not really liking that type of intimacy, so a new headcanon I have is that any type of intimacy they have would just go as far as making out and being naked with each other, nothing truly lustful or sexual at all, the intimacy isn't sex, it's what matters the most in a relationship (and the base of Zander's problems) trust

As trusting someone can be really hard especially for Zander obviously having trust issues, I think that the comfort in trusting each other is the closest thing to actual intimacy and love (personally, I see it like that) I also feel like Luke would have a hard time with his body and himself, as the only valuable things people would see in him are his kindness and how he's attractive, that kind of thing obviously has an effect on you that is way more harmful than comforting, it hardly gives you confidence, knowing Zander would love Luke for more than just the outside and his kindness is what would feel like true intimacy to Luke

If there's something I wanna see for s2 is Zander comforting Luke rather than the other way around, I think it's a known topic for people to etiquette a ship as "top and bottom" and with that we usually bring more stereotypes to it, and I'll be honest, Luke lacking personality does NOT help at all

Obviously this isn't an omegaverse or anything, in real life we all struggle, so showing that Luke struggles and probably just hides it is a better option for s2, how would I do this? Show Luke's cracks at some point or how his problems start to intensify, personally I could see part of his problem being how he doesn't have a personality apart from the music club, he used to have more of him but with the time it reduced to what we know now, this won't be resolved with the club in my opinion, which is totally awesome because he can't solve a problem like that with the people that are part of the problem, now that there's no more competition he doesn't have to necessarily be in the club, he could try to look more of himself out of the club and those damn drums (sorry Justin, or whatever your name Luke gave you was) ofc this starts with Luke not handling it, Zander noticing and not knowing how to help him since he's not the type to comfort people except Hailey ig, and Luke asking for a break, Zander doesn't handle it well because he thinks he's the problem, Jake helps Zander genuinely wanting to help and also show Zander that he's trustworthy, wow 2 people that don't love themselves getting to know each other and how if they don't love themselves they won't know how to love at all, real shocker, whatever, with this Zander understands that the problem isn't him, it's how Luke feels like by loving Zander and revolving around the club he's loosing himself, which shouldn't happen in a relationship, and you should actually get to know yourself even better by being with someone you love and that loves you as well, helping Luke by telling him some cliche asf speech where he expresses his love for Luke and not for the help Luke brings to him like he's some sort of object and then he accepts the fact that they need a break so Luke finds himself in a way more loving way like

"I love you, and it's for who you are, I'll love you whether you're sad, angry or happy, whether your opinion is not the same as mine, you don't need to agree with me or the club, and if you want to do something different, I won't accept it because I have to, but because I want to, I love who you are, what you do, the kindness that you have because I know it's genuine, you might think that you're lucky you have me, but that's not it at all, I'm negative and not exactly the best, I know it and you do as well, yet you love me, even when I'm complaining about something you're still there, not only with me but with everyone, when that audio was released... Everyone in the club was sad and angry, but even if you were also sad, you tried to comfort us, you're always putting yourself after us, and that's something hardly anyone does, and you do it because you want to... It's no wonder you want a break now, you will obviously want to get in other clubs and meet other people, put yourself first after years of caring about us over yourself, and I want to be there with you and support you everytime you need me"

We need more Luke angst bro

So it's like an au where Luke is a shadow, sure you can see him but he only exists after you, if you're not there he's not anywhere, he appears where you think he may be, it would mainly focus on him and how he's aware he is a shadow, he doesn't think it's a big deal, it's just what he was brought to do, be there for you, make you have a good time and then stop existing when the task has been completed, that's until he starts to disappear more often, because he already healed everyone he could so there's no more reasons for him to still exist

However you still want him there, so you keep looking for him not realizing he's leaving, you can now see him alone in random places, just alone sitting, maybe doing something casual, not actually existing, that's when you have to realize how he's going away, he won't come back, he simply can't

It's not a sweet au or an extremely bloody one, nothing like that, the vibe it gives it's just indie and strange, it's sad because you can't change anything to make him stay, because every moment you share gets too deep in the silence, the words barely fit in the space, you're bound to bleed in the situation, no one will save him for you and he's alright with that, so might as well you be alright with it too
