my opinion:

i think its important to understand that a. this person, by their own admition, didnt actually know luigi. b. the person themself is very obviously really judgemental and quite arrogant, even by their own admition:

this doesnt completely invalidate his perception of luigi though. i think he is right in several things:

luigi does strike me as someone who strove to prove himself intellectually. i dont think i need to explain this one as it is quite obvious

luigi seemed to be the kind of guy that was simultaneously proud of being different (two goodread reviews stand out: 1. the infamous table manners one, 2. the one about his house.) while also really enjoyed fitting in (in every social circle he was, he thrived in; no radical changes to his appearance such as tattoos, piercings, etc. he actually conformed really hard to masculine ideals of beauty). i personally find this behavior familiar in myself so im not phased by it (and im sure a lot of you guys will relate too): concurrent pride and shame in one self. most of us are around his age or younger, so its natural.

lack of natural discipline - this is one thing that Max (minordissent) pointed out too in his MBTI assesment of him: a lot of people think that beacuse luigi read a lot of productivity and self discipline books, it was due to him being a disciplined person when its the contrary - when you are naturally good at something, the topic doesnt intrigue you enough to read so many books about it. it was clear that he felt like the topics escaped him, and wasnt a natural at them.

propensity to give the "best advice" - which is a very common form of mansplaining in men LOL

what he said about how everyone has a breaking point - which doesnt mean that you become a iredeemable psychopath. luigi is still himself, but he probably feltlike he was forced to the brink, and snapped.

that being said, i find it genuinely ridiculous how hard this person is jumping to conclusions in some areas. for example "his inability to think about concepts beyond the surface, [...] unable to truly deconstruct them down to their core" ... im trying to imagine myself thinking this about some random friend-of-friends and drawing blanks. that is the kind of shit that you can only know about someone when you closely meet them

theres also the fact that they met when they were teenagers, at gilman. of course he had a poor understanding of his own emotions - who didnt? i was fucking psychotic at 14 lmao. i cant judge.

No, he didn't. There were some fake substack accounts that posted fake manifestos after he was arrested, but they were taken down. His substack (anotherdayanotherplay) is still up. Tho, his "reads"/the list of pages he subscribed to has changed a bit since his arrest. I also just realized: did that br*tish trash faux-intellectual Gurwirnsder remove Luigi from his subscribers ?!? 🤨 Because Luigi's no longer subscribed to his "The Prism" substack... idk maybe substack did that automatically after Luigi stopped paying..
