Last night I had a very weird, sandman-related dream. I dreamt that I was in some Barnes and Nobel style bookstore in a mall. The store, itself, was two stories high and had a set of dual escalators inside it. The bookstore doubled as a bank and cash was autumn leaves. If you were low on cash you could request a loan that would come through (Somehow) on a long, low conveyor baelt with aluminum walls guarding either side of it, about two feet high, so the leaves (money) don’t fall off. I got a loan of a bundle of leaves and quickly put them back with a few extra leaves I found, hoping to turn my debt into an excess. I was given a white card that said I had a negative 3.01 debt, meaning I had three dollars and one cent in my account. I was relieved because I didn’t want to be in debt (even though I wanted to buy books). But I noticed the card that told me my status didn’t mention my name or any identifying information. I figured it must have been some high tech DNA or face recognition thing but I wasn’t sure and wanted to feel safe that this was, indeed, what was in my account. So I took the escalator down to a lobby-like area with rows of money lender style desks and there was Vivienne Acheampong / Lucienne and I said to her very bluntly “What are you doing here? You don’t belong here! You’re a great actress!” At first it seemed to be Vivienne Acheampong but she was in Lucienne wardrobe and specks and she spoke and acted like Lucienne. And she explained that since the show ended she needed work. I tried to tell her that she belonged somewhere better, either acting or The Dreaming (Apparently Vivieanne really is Lucienne and Vivieanne was just a persona she used in the mortal world) And then I said something like “Does Morpheus know you’re here?” And I got up and went to Morpheus (he’s usually pretty easy to find in my dreams) and I told him something like “You need to collect your librarian. And he blinked and rose from his throne and went to Vivieanne / Lucienne and he spoke to her gently and assured her that she was needed in The Dreaming and she took his hand and they left my dream together.
