Luar-ke leaves armored flesh-eating beetles on/by people she doesn’t like
throwing one at an official like Kandore probably legally counts as attempted assassination tho
she has one named Sparkles
the Prime deserts by the Half-Heart Clan contain various species of armored flesh-eating beetles, whose exoskeletons make them impossible to squish as a form of killing them
they’ll swarm Yautja when in large numbers but they’ll also eat literally anything else with meat on its bones (smaller numbers, they’re much more harmless but will attempt to dig in when the mood strikes them. you can just pick them off and throw them)
Luar-ke keeps some in her rooms and breeds them as a hobby. they adore her
Halkrath's girlfriends all have pet names they use for him but Halkrath can’t come up with something original and he insists it must be original
Vosandi uses “starlight”, and when she's mad, “darling”, “love of my life”, and “my one and only” and says all four with a rising tone to inspire fear
Luar-ke says “darling”, “dear”, and “dearest”
Tareshi calls him names, usually “nerd” entirely in an endearing way
Jh’adire calls him “captain”. Don’t ask.
Mad Ghost calls his mates “babe” which sometimes Halkrath imitates but it never feels right so he usually regrets it but nobody cares except him
sooner or later he’s gonna realize just “beloved” and “love” are up for grabs
