She embraced a salsa-inspired style statement, stunning in a blue custom Luar gown that featured a plunging neckline that dipped to her ribs, a fitted bodice, and a multi-tiered ruffled skirt with a high-low silhouette.

Gaga’s entire dress was trimmed with pleated fabric on her chest, stomach, and skirt, adding extra movement and texture to the head-turning look.

"We looked to icon Celia Cruz and the power of color. That baby blue comes from the Puerto Rican independence flag and it carries history, pride, and joy" stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo say.

Luar‘s Raúl Lopez revealed that Gaga’s stylists tapped him just one week before the Grammys to craft a custom look for a "secret salsa project". The mystery remained until the performance went live, when Lopez spotted his creation on screen during the halftime show:

"I was watching the game at a friend’s house, and we were celebrating because the halftime show was such a historic moment. I screamed the moment she came on the screen. Everybody started celebrating even more. It was a very surreal and beautiful moment for me and my team".

Backstage, Lady Gaga wore these Celine Spring/Summer 2025 CL40310U oval black acetate sunglasses.

A pair of 11.18-carat diamond and 18k white-gold earrings from the Chopard Haute Joaillerie collection added some major sparkle to Gaga’s look.

Gaga accented her gown with a pop of color by adding a custom Flor de Maga corsage—the official flower of Puerto Rico—custom-made by milliner Piers Atkinson.

I also got word from her styling team that Gaga‘s red patent leather dancing shoes were custom-made for this perfomance!
