Legend gets shipped with lots of characters right? This is just a random thought I had lmao so this is a yap type post.
So which obviously means he's dating/married/crushing possibly on at least one of them. But I would find it 10x funnier if he just marries all of them. All ships can be canon here
BTW this is based around his Zelda and Legend being half siblings, but feel free to change/swap things as you please this is my own view point.
Ravio? Married him, obviously. They live together! Hilda allowed the marriage mainly as a peace offering after everything that happened, which Ravio was iffy abt at first, but he ended up not caring/liking it after awhile and liked it. (Hilda and Ravio are also half-siblings, so Ravio is technically royalty kinda if you wanna view it like that.)
Ralph (Oracle of ages) ok ok, so imagine imagine. He's a royal kinda right (been awhile since I've read the Manga forgive me) imagine he's set to marry someone, Zelda specifically. Zelda doesn't want to. But imagine (hang on wit me) Legend/link (being officially announced as the kings son and a royal) decides to marry him instead of Zelda doing it. Ralph still marries Hyrule royalty and Ravio doesn't care much (Money π€)
Marin through power of fanficion becomes real and obviously marries Legend/Link. It makes sence.
Everyone is pretty happy with this situation and they all get what they want out of it.
But imagine IMAGINE the situation where the chain is asking Legend abt his partner and he (surprisingly love struck) is just yapping about his favorite thing from his husband(s) and wife(s) and their just like wtf????how many bitches is this man MARRIED TO???
Feel free to add more to Legend's multiple partners but this thought came to me and I needed to share (I'm so sorry if this is cringe)
Edit: (all the tags in the reblogs are making me laugh my ass off and all you your are right)

You've probably already received this one but: Ralph?
I haven't! Oh boy, okay! (Fair warning, a lot of this will probably also include Legend because reasons)
tall boy, he was just a bit taller than Legend when they met initially, but by the time of LU, he's grown quite a bit taller. He's Ambi's great-grandson after all, and he takes after her quite a bit
also picks up that near dragonesque vibe that Ambi has, although it's more the fiery hair and green eyes, as well as his temper
is such a show off, absolutely will flaunt anything and everything that he can, including his friendship/rivalry with the Hero
Does Not like the chain. it's nothing they did, it's just that he can't stand the fact that they've replaced him (his take on it) as Legend's traveling companions, and Legend doesn't treat them like they're incapable at all, even if he does complain about them still
I see him as being really good with horses. I don't know why, but he gives that vibe; he's a skilled equestrian and probably has a really close bond with his horse. They 100% move together like they are one being and he's immensely proud of that fact
he's a cat person, I think, although Veran's leopards did mess that up slightly. not so much that he doesn't like cat's anymore, but he does complain to his cats about their "annoying cousins"
He has at least three cats all calicos, don't ask me why, he just does
Isn't really someone who likes reading or sitting around, but he'll linger around a library or whatever if Nayru or Legend is inside, making a nuisance of himself to get some attention
He's the middle child of his family he's got an older sister who'll be queen one day (they're descended from Ambi so I'm pretty sure it's implied he's a prince?) and a younger sibling who I think might be a brother? He just gives middle child energy to me; trying so hard to get attention one way or another and desperate for Nayru's approval during the game. he's grown out of this slightly, but not much
He and Nayru are still friends, but it never came out to be romantic, much to his disappointment. She just doesn't see him that way
Is really musically talented, though mostly with stringed instruments. He'd probably also be a decent dancer, although he prefers to make the music himself and considers himself something of a connoisseur
After Legend left Labrynna, he made a point to study sword craft, but still isn't able to pull off some of the tricks that Legend does easily. It drives him nuts, and Legend 100% teases him about it endlessly
He's the first person to have heard Legend speak! If you read my blog you probably know that I HC Legend was mute before the mermaid's curse, so the curse is what gave him his voice. The boys realized it while traveling together because suddenly Legend was making sounds rather than just breathing really harshly, and they spent a good hour or so debating what his first words should be, because that's important, right?
Legend's first word was Ralph's name, spoken with extreme irritation. Legend was mortified that he wasted his first word on the guy but Ralph is incredibly proud of it, although he couldn't tell you why it matters so much to him
This is sort of cannon from what we see from games and the manga, but I think Ralph is the kind of person who gets super possessive about the people he cares about. he is with Nayru, obviously, but after a while, I see him feeling the same way about Legend too, though he hates to admit it to anyone, even himself
Labrynna's design gives me sort of Scandanavian vibes? I think? Not that that's exactly Ralph related, but I'm putting that out there
I think he's something of a foodie, and definitely likes sharing both food and the knowledge thereof with people he's close to
He will literally pay the most obscene prices for Hyrulian Cider because Legend let him try some once (Legend carries a flask of it, I think, it's non-alcoholic, but it tastes like home, so...) and now he's kinda hooked on the flavor. For some reason, cider from home isn't the same, so he literally ships it in from Hyrule. (The difference is the apples. Legend's orchard semi-canonically produces superior apples because of his magic (that's in the manga))
Because he's the middle child, he's got a lot more freedoms than his elder sister, and sort of just gets forgotten a lot by their parents. the youngest child of the family is everyone's baby and his sister is the heir, so Ralph is very used to being the spare and just wandering off to hang with Nayru for ages only to come back and no one realizes he was missing
^Might crave attention from others a ton as a result, hence why he latched onto his "rivalry" with Legend so aggressively
I see him being really good at archery and hunting. Sword fighting isn't actually his field, though he wants it to be because that's what knights and heroes do. He's a dead-shot with a bow though, although he prefers a crossbow for speed and ease of operation.
He taught Legend how to use a crossbow, but Legend Does Not Like the way it feels or the noise it makes, and prefers to stick to his own traditional bow
He's such a diva, I just know it. This man knows what self care is and is somewhat scandalized that the hero is so terribly unfamiliar with it. Labrynna totally has bath houses and whatnot, and all the locals are accustomed to natural hot springs and the like, so self care is pretty standard with even the commoners in the city, what do you mean the hero's never seen a sauna or hot-tub in his life?
I feel like he and Impa developed a relationship of sorts while Legend was running all over everywhere. Impa saw right through that bratty middle-child behavior and is just this warm, sweet presence who'll scold when she sees a need, but generally just is there to take care of her boy and any of his friends. Ralph took a while to get used to having someone actually get after him for stuff, but he really appreciates how much she cares and they definitely have spent a few nights just sitting up and talking over tea together after legend crashed from his day's travels/battles
^He has all the tea as a result of this friendship, and like Legend, also calls Impa "Aunty" with plenty of affection. Sure, she's technically a servant sent by the Hylian Crown, and he's generally dismissive of servants, but there's really no being dismissive of her and also, she's really really nice?
He's a tea drinker and a tea spiller. Will gossip if given the chance, and takes his tea mostly bitter, but likes the taste of honey in it too.
Very physical with people he's closer to. 100% uses Legend as an armrest now that he's tall enough to do so comfortably, and a big hugger if he's certain he won't be locked for it. Nayru appreciates his hugs plenty. Legend has yet to be conscious for one, so he has no knowledge of this.
Despite knowing that Legend would literally do it for anyone, he still feels like he owes his life to the guy after the vet not only saved him, but also his whole bloodline by sparing Ambi and even convincing her people to do the same. Tends to hover a bit as a result and tries to "pay it back" in whatever way he can. He has not expressed this to Legend, and the vet has no clue about any of this because why on earth would Ralph actually communicate something to him?
This man wants to be the scary dog for his loved ones, but I think he's really just a grouchy housecat
He's a really good swimmer, but doesn't like what water does to his hair, so he generally doesn't swim by choice (unless you challenge his abilities, because then it's a matter of pride)
He is so easily ragebaited that it's ridiculous. And yes, Legend takes delight in ragebaiting him. It's enrichment for both of them
His relationship with his elder sister is sort of a "I can't stand her but heaven help you if you insult her in front of me" sort of deal. they have almost nothing in common, and don't get along well on account of the whole heir and spare situation, but that's still his sister, goddesses darn it! And he will not let anyone insult his family
This man's loyalty makes a dog look like Benedict Arnold, I just know he's a ride or die for anyone he's close to
He does Not like dogs. He is a cat person 100% and thinks dogs are disgusting, hairy, slobbery things. The only exception to this is the hunting dog he works with and has begrudgingly gotten attached to. He will deny that to anyone who asks though.
Dramatic dresser. I can absolutely see him doing the Obi-Wan Kenobi cloak thing like...every chance he can.
Summer person. He does NOT like being cold, despite living in a mountainous nation, and much prefers sunshine over rain or snow.
Complainer. this is cannon actually, but I see him as someone who will and does complain over everything if given the chance
Also really big on compliments when given the chance. he's just very vocal about how he feels about stuff, be it hating or loving things.
Between the two of them, Ralph is the talker and Legend, despite now having the ability to talk, is the quiet one. If they hang out, Legend probably ain't even saying a word; Ralph does all the talking for both of them. The only time this changes is if Ralph tries to say something on Legend's behalf that he would NOT say (that he wants to eat something spicy, that he hates horses, that apples are his least favorite flavor) but otherwise, Legend's so used to Ralph being the talker that he tends to forget it's even an option for himself (since he used to not be able to) and he's chill to just let that be how it is. Saves him dealing with people he doesn't want to and he likes it better that way.
Ralph is also a ragebaiter to a certain extent, but it tends to backfire on him more often than not when he tries it on Legend, so he's stopped trying as much on him.
I see him as an aggressively caring person. He learned some medicine to help out Legend's stupid ass self during their adventure, but he's yelling and scolding and insulting the whole time. Legend would tend his own wounds if he could but his hemophobia makes it hard, so he has to just live with it most of the time.
Ralph is also a killer cook, so, yeah, he has cooked for Legend before, and Impa. He and Impa actually trade recipes. Legend has tried to join those conversations, but is not allowed to join because all he knows is soup and baking, and all other attempts are disastrous.
Morning person, this man likes his beauty sleep, but is more likely to favor going to bed at a set time and wakes with the sun. It's uncommon for a noble, but it gives him time to exist outside of the perceptions of others for a bit, and he enjoys just drinking his morning tea while sitting with his cats
Cat Dad to the extreme. He gets fussy if you mis-name his cats and definitely has asked Legend to draw them for him a few times so he can keep pictures of them as well (man cannot draw to save his life but Legend can, so.....please?)
Has personal beef with Maple. They hate each other. Has met Irene though when visiting Hyrule and they're chill with each other. (Yes, Irene and Maple are two different people, but they are cousins, because I think it's fun that way lol)
He's still not sure how he felt about Raven. but he knows he respects the man. They didn't get to talk much though, and he still feels a bit guilty about having been used against the knight and Legend by Veran
He is actually aware of Legend and Fable's telepathy abilities because after Legend got sick enough of Ralph ignoring his attempts to sign at him (before the mermaid curse let him talk) the vet just started projecting his thoughts into Ralph's brain so that he couldn't be ignored. It scared the shit out of him the first few times, but by now he's kinda just chill with it (if not proud that he's one of the few people the Hylian Twins will do that with), and it helps sometimes even to make him feel better about having had Veran in his head if Legend and Fable also just pop up in there sometimes, totally casual and acting like that's normal (something something exposure therapy)
Gives off the vibe that he thinks he's better than everyone, but he would and will do his best to help anyone he can. yes, he's an ass about it, but he can be an ass and still care, y'know?
Despite being an irrisponsible middle child, he tends to act as the voice of reason when dealing with Legend and Nayru, who are so very not grounded in normalcy that it really is left to him to make sure they realize that what they're thinking if isn't normal or even necessarily smart (pities sakes, Nayru, you're the goddess of wisdom, what on earth made you think that riding a bear was a GOOD idea? and furthermore, why did it work?)
Take the hero weirdness in stride now. Man is so over the chaos of his animal-talking-to, spirit-seeing, triforce-wielding, shapeshifting-ass best friend and the goddess they both ended up protecting together. It's gonna take a lot to surprise him with weird stuff now (yet he still gets outraged and shocked by little things, like drinking red wine with fish or wearing clashing colors)
Hopeless romantic at heart. We knew that though, what with the Nayru thing
Writes some really good poetry. Actually chronically his adventure with Legend as a full on epic, but he's yet to let Legend know that, although it is a highly popular piece of literature in Labrynna right now
Has the most ridiculously fancy handwriting. Also is the sort to open any piece of correspondence with all the titles (Legend rues the day Ralph found out he was Fable's twin because that means there's a full paragraph of titles at the start of every letter now instead of just all the fancy "hero of such and such and heir to the knights of Hylia" nonsense there used to be)
While his attempts to mess with Legend don't tend to work very well most of the time, he is always successful if they're at a social gathering and he can make a big to-do over "the prince of Hyurle" within everyone's hearing and then force Legend to deal with the after effects as everyone realizes that there's a royal in the room OTHER than himself. Legend will glare at him for the rest of the event though when he does it, so it's an effective threat to get what he wants out of the younger man
^if things get too much for Legend though in social situations, he isn't so much of an asshole that he won't help him find an out. He'll let him suffer as long as it's funny, but if Legend is actually showing signs of distress (ears down and shoulders tight) than he's crafting some sort of excuse to get them out of there, and will accept the punch he gets for causing it to begin with (yes, he'll smack back, but he knows he deserves it, so he doesn't hit back too hard, but it's the principle of the thing)
He and Fable aren't exactly friends, but they are allies, if that makes sense Fable doesn't really do friends, and she kind of scared Ralph a little, but they both care about her idiot brother, whether they'll admit it or no, so there's an alliance to keep him alive between the two of them.
I wanted to draw Ralph but in the Linked Universe AU because I love him and desperately crave more content of him. I changed up his design a little bit and tried to make him look a little less silly and more refined and princely since he is a descendant Queen Ambi. Though at heart heβs still a big overconfident, dramatic goof.
