Liam: No! No, I mean, uh, it’s no offense I have got no bad bones with any of them. We’re all good. [But you were brought together for no particular, yeah...randomly.] You know, everybody goes to work, you have people you associate yourself with at work. But you don’t see ‘em outside of work. We don’t really have a job anymore. So like, with someone like Harry for example, I just don’t have very much in common with the boy. So it’s like, I can’t... you know, I can go have a drink with him fine, whatever, you know, if I bump into him.  Everyone is so busy. [But you aren’t best friends.]. Yes, exactly. We just don’t really have that much in common. And that’s fine.  

Liam: The thing about interviews is this [...] I said something about Louis this week, where  I was like, oh yeah in the band we weren’t allowed to wear stripes. Which is true. Because we didn’t wear stripes because that was his thing. [...]  This is it, then you say it, and like the newspapers come back and make it into this, like, disgusting take on “Liam said this about Louis dah dah dah”. And I’m like, Louis knows me so he knows I’m not like that. He’ll like phone me up and like, we spoke, we actually spoke about the whole thing. And I was like, I never say anything offensive about anything because there’s nothing offense to say. But it’s just like, I don’t know, he took something a little personal that I said the other week, and I was just kinda like, that’s you mate, you carry on. 

Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall did all just re-follow Zayn, who left the band in 2014, on social media.
