A house made into a home <3
This past month has been nothing short of heartwarming and refreshing.
As we celebrated my godson's birthday this weekend, I found myself fully accepting something that my heart has been slowly learning:
I already have everything I ever wantedβand, more importantly, everything I truly needed. With God-given time, I believe my gratitude will continue to overcome my anxieties. I won't let distractions take more of my attention than what feeds my hope. Cause even in the worst-case scenarios, I remember this simple truth:
I have the best people in my life.
Period.
As Carlo and I continue making a house into a home, one of the sweetest compliments we've received is that everyone who walks through our door says it feels cozy. Peaceful. Loved.
That means more to me than they know.
I want our home to be a place where people can exhale. Where they feel comfortable enough to curl up on the couch, take a nap, share a meal, laugh until their stomach hurts, or simply be exactly who they need to be that day.
Every day, I pray over this home.
For protection.
For peace.
For love.
For everyone who enters and everyone who leaves. God has been nothing but faithful in answering prayers. And this year, I want to keep watering the fruit of patience.
Whether it's wedding planning, building our home, growing in my career, or stepping into whatever comes next, I know this:
All will be well with Him at the center.
Jesus said:
βPeace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.β β John 14:27
So today, I choose peace over fear.
Gratitude over anxiety.
Presence over striving.
Because God has already been so good to me.
God is good. Love yours.
