For my approach, I looked to stuff like the gross-out toys of the late 90s/2000s/early 2010s, as well as fashion doll lines like G1 Monster High(heck I basically put Rabie Baby in G1 Draculaura’s series one outfit)and Novi Stars. I want to give them the energy of “they were ahead of their time and cancelled too soon”, in that they had an edgy/alternative style of clothing and geared to a more teen audience. I also wanted to play more into the fact that they are the “evil” counterparts of the Smiling Critters and changed their scents into something more tacky and unhealthy and gave each of the Nightmare Critters a “gimmick” that plays into their character. For example, I like to imagine Rabie Baby’s charm is one of those voice recorders. I also made mockups of Baba and Toullie as conceptual drawings.

Thanks to the mess that is Helluva’s second season, that rewrite came flooding back to me and dear lord I’ve never been more willing to do a full rewrite/overhaul of Helluva Boss in my life it’s actually insane. So I took another stab at my old Blitzo redesign and fused it with a design that I made that was based off that old redesign, so in a way it came back full circle. I made his face scar more gnarly and gave him a glass eye(though I imagine it’s just a marble he found on Earth and he just popped it in the socket)in place of his missing eye. He also has a prosthetic for his horn that got destroyed in the accident, tiny vestigial wings (he can’t fly;the most he can do is hover), and a chubby dad bod. If people are interested, I would be willing to go more in depth with this overhaul mini-project

Day Twenty Eight was also an idea that I had for Cult of the Lamb when they announced the Goat/Co-Op with a Geep(Goat/Sheep hybrid)character. I was surprised that they didn’t go all out with it with the mating tent options to create Geeps, though it makes sense since it’s implied that they are essentially the same person but split into two, but I want Geep representation.

Was digging through some old art, trying to find an old design for reference, when I stumbled upon these old drawings I never posted. I made these designs around the time FNAF Security Breach initially came out and everyone was trying to make glamrock animatronic OCs, and I wanted to throw my hat into the ring. The concept for these guys was inspired by the initial opening track of the game reminded me of Videopolis, so I decided to make them like MTV style hosts, their platform where they performed would show parody music videos featuring the Glamrocks and worked with DJ Music Man as Emcees. Their game mechanics would essentially be them creating a loud sound to attracted other prowling animatronics if they spotted you(aka the most annoying mechanic ever).
