Well ㄱ is g/k depending on constants or vowels conjoined with but even when its ‘k’ its still pronounced more like a G? And kookie is just like a cute nickname but if its to do with how his name is said it wouldnt really be said kookie anyway i try not to over think these things but then when i start to my head basically explodes

i think i’m just a weirdo that when i see it, my brain just says, “nope. that’s wrong.” when i know it’s still right as k too romanization wise 

and “kookie” is quite cute but for whatever reason i just can’t get my head around it as just a thing fans type and not actually say....

because then i realize it’s like “kooky” like a crazy person but my mind says it as “cookie” when that’s the wrong short o sound for his actual name????

Spell it how you want its not like you are spelling it wrong. And you are probably right with the debut spelling thing. I guess it more popular for foreigners to spell it jungkook and koreans will just use hangul so oh well.

Jeongguk kind of looks better anyway

idk at what point bighit got on board with spelling it jungkook but i mean it works and is easier for us foreign fans but then it just rubs me wrong when people shorten it to “kookie” bc they’re interpreting the pronunciation with a hard k when it’s not

I guess jeongguk is more phonetically correct for pronunciation. Like it shouldnt be said as jungkook but as jeongguk more so.

which is pretty much why i can’t bring myself to spell it the way everyone else spells it

but i’m pretty sure predebut it was spelled “jeongguk” but suddenly they changed it????

I dont think you should feel guilty or that its unfair to have your own kids. But i do believe that adopting is a good choice. Giving others a home is a beautiful thing. But i dont believe having a child of your own is guilty or unfair
